amazing bit of kit , i did not hold up much hope for the price but wow churned up my garden and my next door neighbour borrowed it this weekend and dug his whole lawn up with no problems , its paid for itself alreadyjust beware the lead is really long and i cut in to it by mistake , the safty cut out saved blowing anything and once a nifty repair it was back up and running ,..just be carefull because this is much more powerfull than it looks and will defo take you for a spin up the garden LOL

Just what was needed. Not too heavy & easy to operate. Does a good job.

This thing is a beast! Kicks like mad if you hit a stone or big root but avoiding them it churned through our heavy clay garden with ease. 1 star off tho for how easily it tangles up, need a couple of 1/2 spanners on standby to remove blades regularly.

Excellent! I can't imagine working without it. You need this if you are restarting your garden from scratch, which involves destroying and removing all existing live or dead plants in your soil. You may not need this if you have less than a 3x3m area to work with. My space is more than 20x5m, so it's definitely essential. It struggles a bit in clay soil but still works given with more time. The safety switch works well, a bit too well actually, that your fingers need to play like pressing a chord in a guitar to start the machine. I am a male, and I think most adults can control it, it feels like controlling a medium-sized dog with a leash rushing forward.

This isn't the most powerful tiller you will use. Also, the assembly instructions could do with being a little clearer. The screws are of cheap metal, so the heads will chew easily. It is lightweight, which makes it easy to handle, but it will bounce off larger stones, thicker roots, etc. very easily. A bit of a bucking bronco! However, all that being said, I have used it to prepare a new lawn area and it has coped with the task admirably. I would recommend for smaller / simpler projects, but for bigger areas and more frequent usage, you may need something bigger and heavier.
