Works until you drop it once.
It works fine. Until you drop it. The rear casing will pop open, and doesn't snap back quite right. The phone wasn't damaged, but the case itself is not sturdy at all. And then the solar charging doesn't work after a single drop (from about 3 feet height). So what I have now is a dangling case with the rear cover half exposed, and a solar panel that no longer works. If you are not a klutz, great. But a case should be designed to handle a reasonable drop.

Horrible product. After the first three days the solar panel stopped charging. I was overseas so returning the product was not an option. I would not recommend this product unless you love wasting money.

Great Solar-Powered Battery Case
I got this case from a local electronics shop. I am an avid collector of phone cases (I have over 10 for my iPhone 6s Plus alone). Although this phone has excellent battery life overall, I'm a mom of two and always need to be prepared for those "just in case" scenarios. This case fits the bill. It has an attractive color combination and the slim silhouette doesn't add much bulk to the phone, which I love because I'm normally multitasking and juggling a million things at once so my phone needs to be durable and easy to handle. I appreciate that the case utilizes solar energy as I can charge it on the go by simply mounting my phone in the car or placing my phone in the stroller while I'm on a walk. Beyond the obvious battery-charging/extending functionality, it is also offers good protection from drops. I don't drop my phone often, but my toddler has a knack for lobbing it across the room and this case has held up throw after throw. In all, I've had a good experience with this case, especially at the price point.
