Gooseneck Kettle - Stainless Steel Tea Kettle with Thermometer - Suitable Pour Over Coffee Kettle and for Induction Stovetop - 40oz/ 1.2l

I love this little kettle! I've recently realized that grocery store coffee doesn't make me happy anymore, so I've upgraded my brewing to an Aeropress and pour over. This kettle is great for both! I love the thermometer on top so I can heat my water to exactly my desired temp, and it heats up really quickly. It's smaller that a full size teapot, but that doesn't really bother me, just fill it up more!

I looked at more kettles than I wanted to but kept coming back to this one from Motte. It is well made with quality materials. It heats quickly and the thermometer on top is a fabulous tool. I purchased this principally for my pour-ver coffee's and it delivers! It isn't the least expensive but it's worth every penny!

Likes: Easy to use, accurate pouring, thermometer keeps water temp right where I want it. It's a kettle. Performs as advertised.Dislikes: Smaller base is too small for the turbo burner on my gas stove, which results in a hot handle and/or residual water in the spout to shoot out like a volcano once the water starts boiling. A small piece of the plastic on the handle already broke off, presumably from too much direct heat. Both problems are solved by keeping the flame to no bigger than the base of the pot. Dislikes are not deal breakers for me so just be careful with your flame.

I was looking for a for a simple kettle to heat up water for my pour over coffee. Here it is a kettle that is well made easy to use and will not break your bank. Temp gauge is easy to read and water gets to temp super quick. What can I say great product.

Didn't think I needed a thermometer in the top, but it's great when heating water for tea, that needs different temps for different teas. There were no reviews for this product, so I took a chance. It's a wonderful product, doesn't drip, and heats wicked fast on an induction cooktop. Worth every penney!

I purchased this in late March and here we are in late May. The unit has rusted in several places. It is emptied after every use, water is not left standing in the kettle and it still rusted in less than 60 days.This is most certainly NOT quality stainless steel. To make matters worse the return period is only 30days - a quality product would provide a longer return period.

What a lovely and elegant little pot. We make our own pour over coffee when traveling using this pot with our camp stove. Pot hold enough for two 16 oz cups of coffee. Handle and spout are perfect, pot is well made. Happy with it.

This is used every day, is easy to fill, easy to read thermometer, and heats pretty quickly on gas range on small burner. Don't know about the heat resistance. Time will tell. It is a hit and the older tea kettle was retired.
