I purchased the black version of this mount last year (2023) for my older Mac mini. It worked out so well that I decided to get another one for my Mac mini M1. The mounting configuration I have for both is a little unusual. I use an old 4-mount monitor stand with adjustable horizontal arm groups - stacked vertically. On the lower level I mounted two flat display monitors, facing out toward the keyboard(s). On the upper level I mounted the two Mac minis facing back towards the wall. This arrangement works well for my needs, giving me easy access to both minis and their connections. (See photos.) I have found that in both cases the Sarbrent mounts were easy to use and very, very stable. Once the mounts were attached to the upper stand support, sliding the Mac mini unibodies into the mounts was easy. On my first purchase in 2023, I was a little concerned that there might be metal contact points that might damage the mini aluminum case. Once I did my first installation I realized that all contact points are protected with a soft powder coat or rubber padding. Nice. Design-wise, these mounts are great. The power button is unobstructed and easy to access. Likewise, all access points (connectors and cables) and the power cord are easily accessed through the "open lip" design. Sturdy and fairly attractive in both silver and black; at a very reasonable price. Just what I needed in both cases. Note on the accompanying photos - two are views from the side and behind the 4-mount, showing the Mac mini M1's top and left side. The third photo is from below, revealing the M1's back side with a video cable, LAN cable, and the power cord. I really don't have any cons to list. For what they do, both mounts are perfect for my needs.

Wow! As I sit here writing this review, I couldn't be happier. I just mounted my brand-new Apple Mini M1 underneath my desk. This mounting tool was the absolute perfect accessory to accomplish that task. I was a little afraid the metal mount would be shipped loose and possibly damaged in shipping, but it arrived nicely packed in a box. The M1 Mini fit perfectly into the mount. You don't have to fear your Mini getting scratched as the fit was perfect with no opportunity for the computer to wobble and scrape. Instead of using the screws that came with this mount, I chose mounting tape. This is an excellent option for those of you that don't want to drill into your desk. I bought a pack of Gorrila double-sided mounting tape and ran it up over both sides of the mount (covering the raised bumps on the back). The Gorilla tape does a great job of adhering this mount to the desk. One thing I don't think many of the reviews mention is that this mount includes a cord manager. You simply run your power and display cords along the side of the mount and a clip holds them in place. I was quite surprised when I discovered that and it really added to the neatness of the install. For the price, you really can't do better than this mount. I was skeptical when I ordered it, but now that I have my M1 neatly installed in this mount, it has exceeded all expectations.

The only reason this does not have five stars is because the screws are meant for either behind monitor mounting, which is a great idea, or wall mounting if you never plan on upgrading or work in an office where nothing is moved but I’ve never been one for putting holes in my home walls. For under desk mounting, you’ll need a spacer of some sort like a 1/4 inch of wood or in our hacked together setup, cardboard. This also, should be noted for fitting the Mac Mini models M1-M3, so if you have a newer Mac Mini like the M4 you’ll need a larger mount. Other than that, it gets the job done is sturdy, and fits the M1-M3 models really well and is quite sturdy. It’s is a great buy for what you’ll need it to do mount your Mac in a functional and space saving way.

I bought this to mount my Mac mini under my office desk, and it works perfectly! The build quality is solid, and installation was quick and easy. Delivery took longer than usual but Amazon dealt with the issue. Mount is very sturdy and came with screws to mount on the wall. I mounted mine under my desk and had to replace the screws since those provided were around 40mm. Rubber paddings were included with the mount to protect the Mac Mini. The Mac Mini fits perfectly using the mount. Mounting the bracket was super easy. I bought 2 usb extension cables and had them routed for easy access using the additional brackets on the side of the mount. I'm very satisfied with it.

This is so easy to install and the Mac slides in with no issue. The inside has felt so there is no worry about scratching the metal Mac chassis. The only issue I ran into was the mount was too close to my monitor's cable plugs. I bought long screws and plastic spacers (100mm) and this allows access to all plugs. Not an issue with the mount, but this might be a solution for certain users. There is plenty of air flow so that the Mac does not overheat. If you need more desk room or like a clean office, this is the product you need!
