Runs quiet, no white dust.
Very happy with this humidifier. Works well. I like the different speeds and the panel shows the humidity in the air.

Makes a real difference
I have this humidifier in my living room. It was easy to set up, and presets for humidity and mist levels made setting my preferences easy. It will supposedly monitor the humidity and turn itself off and on to maintain your desired humidity once it reaches that level, but I haven't been able to test that yet. I love its large tank capacity; even at its highest setting, the water lasts longer than 24 hours. It's easy to fill and clean, and attractive, too. I'm very happy with this purchase, and plan to buy another to replace the smaller humidifier in another room.

If you know someone with day skin get them this unit, they will be grateful for life.
I have to admit this product exceeded my expectations. I have been suffering with very dry skin for years, it got so bad the ends of my fingers and other parts of my them would actually split and cause horrific pain. I could not figure out the cause because I had a cool air humidifier( cheap one, could not see mist) . The humidity in my place was about 25% year round.. I started using the Air Innovations unit and within a couple of days, my dry skin was totally gone. I remembered as a child growing up in Eugene, Oregon, I always felt great, outside in the cool humid days of winter. Average humidity there is about 90% in the winter on those grey days. I have been keeping the humidity in my apt at least 55% or greater now and being that the unit is cool mist , I have not seen condensation on my windows or any mold problems. Don't buy the unit at Home Depot, old model, new one much better. Go for the 3 year extended warranty for 6 bucks. I really could not go back to living without this device, I have 2 of them and love to watch the cool mist cascade out of the nozzle. Only draw back really uses water on high, a gallon plus every 8 hours.

Returned to air innovations branded humidifier
I had a 2014 larger with an extension nozzle that gave up the ghost in 2024 which I replaced with a Dreo. The dreo had NO bacterial nor fungal protection and I had something pink growing in it. NOT SO with this Air Innovation Model or the 2014 predecessor. I just filled, turned on, selected maximum, and I can notice a change in my living room already.

So far so good!
Mist is ultra light, the humidity levels are good and so far it seems like a good value.I’ve only had this item for a week so I can’t rate it to high yet.

Wouldn't recommend
It worked amazing...for half a year. Then it stopped working.

Far and away better than any humidifier I've ever had - if you always use distilled water - which you should be doing anyway.
I bought two and keep them going 24/7 because I live in the desert. No problems so far. Note that you must not use ordinary tap water in your humidifier if you want it to last. Buy a good countertop distiller and use distilled water instead. I have a Megahome countertop distiller that works well for me.Update: One of the two quit working after 11 months. Emitted a high-pitched whine and died. It lights up but is otherwise kaput. I always used distilled water, and I never let the water level fall below the level of the filter. Today I bought a Boneco U300 for $169.35 plus $14.82 for a 3-year extended warranty in the vain hope that I might get something that lasts.Update: Despite the failure of one unit after 11 months, I must say that this humidifier (Air Innovations) is the best I've ever had, and I've bought more than a few in my time. First, and most important: Never - NEVER - use tap water. You must use DISTILLED water. Otherwise, the unit will quickly become clogged with debris and stop working. Buy a countertop distiller if you must; it will pay for itself. I suggest that you buy a Megahome distiller because they last almost forever. Second, if a fill hole were added to the top of the water container, this humidifier would be drop-dead best on the market. I think it's already the best, but it sure would be nice to fill it with water without having to remove the water chamber, turn it upside down, and fill it from the bottom.
