No buzzing sound, works great!
I agree with other reviewers that the fan is not quiet, it’s a reasonable level for the size. I hate the buzzing sound of a AC unit and this does not make that sound. If you don’t mind the white noise of a fan in the background, you will like this unit. It cools better than any other unit I’ve had. Great price too

Top Notch for the Price
I wish I could give this air conditioner 10 stars. I wasn't expecting much for the price I paid, but I was pleasantly surprised. It cooled the room quite fast on low cool. High cool is for those of us who like to sleep in the Arctic lol. It fits quite snugly in the window, with no gaps or that annoying rattle of the wings vibrating against the window frame. The ac is really quiet. My fan is louder than the ac. The filter works better than I thought it would. I have to clean more often than I would like, but that just means it's pulling nasty stuff out of the air. Love this ac

Definitely cools my room, but a little louder than I hoped (video attached)
The media could not be loaded. So this product does do what it's supposed to do and that's cool my room very well. It was relatively easy to install, I put it together with the manual and installed it myself in a few minutes. Took at little while to get used to the settings but I eventually figured it out. It has a high/low fan setting and a high/low cool setting on one knob, as well as a separate knob for how much cooling you want the unit to do (you can choose between 1-7).I've closed my door and windows and set it to high cool and the max cool setting (7), and my room temperature went from 81 degrees to 73 degrees in about 45 minutes (photos attached). On the same settings I think I went from 84 to as low as 66 after probably 2 hours a few days before writing this review. Also, my room is pretty much a square. I believe the walls are all 12 ft long and 8 ft high. Definitely measure your room to make sure you're getting the right size AC for it. This unit says it cools up to 150sq ft, so measure the length of 2 walls and multiply them to get your square footage. Mine are all 12ft long so 12*12 = 144sq ft.Depending on the temperature outside I either keep my 2nd window closed if it's the same temperature or hotter outside or I might open it if it's cooler outside. If it is cooler outside than it is inside (like at night) then you can just turn on the fan, which I believe will push fresh cool air from outside to the inside of your room instead of running the AC's cooling unit. I use my phone to check the outside temperature and then have a cheap battery operated thermometer that sits on my desk inside my room to tell me the inside temperature.I've attached a video so you can see and hear the unit for yourself. Only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the noise. It's doesn't make a whiny noise nor does it sound like anything is mechanically wrong or broken, it's just that the fan is louder than I expected, even for the lower setting. I kind of wish it had one more setting where the fan was running at about half it's current lowest setting to maybe cut down on noise a bit more. But it's nice that I can crank it to high cool and the max cool setting and close the door/windows and leave the room for a bit, then when I come back I can turn the fan and settings down for a bit and be nice and cool. Sometimes it gets so much cooler that I even have to throw on a hoodie. One more note: I also run a gaming pc in my room which drastically affects the temperature, so these newer temps with the AC are while my pc is on and running. Without that the AC unit probably can cool a room of a similar size even easier. But again, other than the loudness of the fan it does work very well.

Energy saver
I purchased 2 units for two rooms in my home. The cost was reasonable and I was honestly tired of spending 800 a month on using my air conditioner just to cool down two rooms upstairs. I now only run the air conditioner when I want the downstairs cooled down which has quite literally slashed my electric bill in half.Pros:Size , doesn’t stick out much creating an eyesore outside.Cools down the room quicklyNot very loudCons:Very basic and doesn’t auto shut off when hitting a certain temperature.Overall it does exactly what we needed it for.

Affordable and reliable! Bought this years ago. Never left a review before.
Honestly it’s pretty great for the price!! I’ve had it for a few years now and I’ve recommended it to friends so many times. It’s fairly noisy, but honestly atp it’s like white noise to me. The accordion sides are a lil flimsy, but I feel like a lot of my windows have been wonky, too so who knows! I usually leave it off when I go to work to save money, but when I come home and turn it back on it usually cools my room down in an hour or so depending how hot it is. I live in a huge city and our summers are HOT, so I think it’s pretty impressive. I usually leave it on the low cool function unless it’s like 95-100F. So it’s great and super reliable.

Works Awesome!!!
So I bought the cheapest one I could find and this was it for $159.99 about $175.00 after taxes. It was easy to install although I had installed 2 other that were similar before so that helped but really not bad at all. I installed this in my sister's room and as it was a mild day here in Washington state today ( high of 74 ) once I put it in and turned it on to "Cool Hi" and temp all the way to max cool (#7) it took 30 minutes for an average bedroom to go from 72° to 66° and after another 25 minutes I got it down to 62.9°... wow was I happy with that especially because we have another round of high 80's to low 90's coming this week.So as of 7-20-2025 it's a 5 start gem!!!!But I will update this review if there are any problems before summer is out. Hope this helps someone

This AC Blows goodly
This thing blows! And it blows goodly. We have this in my office/game room that even at 69° in the house it's about 86° in bald eagle measurements and boy does it work. It can get a little weak if you leave it on for days at a time but it kicks for the entire day and most of the night without any issues. I spend from 10am-5pm and 11pm-4am with the thing pumping essentially from 10am-4am all day and there's no issues.

It cooled down my house fast
Perfect where we rent the AC doesn’t work that well especially in the summer and they said it’s just because of where we live so we took it in to our hands and got window units. I know we need bigger ones but these are working just fine. We spaced them out in our double wide and they have cooled down the house so fast and it’s keeping it at 68° when it’s usually almost 80° in the house we have had no problems with these units at all no damage nothing
