Plastic Hose Barb Reducer Fitting

Due to a shipping issue with Amazon fulfillment, I didn't receive this right away. The company was very accommodating and helped me get the fitting in a timely manner. I appreciate that! It works perfectly for the application that I needed it to, saving me lots of time. It is set up to feed the automatic humidifier inside of my quail hatching setup. It is a solid, well built item that should hold up in the rigors I plan to put it through!

It does exactly what it says on the tin: steps down a 3/8” tube to a 1/4” tube. It’s easy to push both sides into the hose, and forms a good seal. Would buy again.

I was told by a mechanic that the plastic reducers are better than the brass ones.

Sent me the wrong item at first. One of the barbs is correct but the other in the picture is not even 1/4 inch, way to small... Had to return and reorder to get correct sizes. Other than that they work well.

Photo is not representative of items received. Instead of four barbs on each end, there is a single, "doubled" one. Rating is subject to whether or not it leaks in your specific application.

Works good, sizes correct. Could be a bit better of a deal for two plastic fittings, 15 dollars is a bit outrageous but I can't find them in Canada for cheaper so I guess it is what it is.

When I ordered this product, it stated 20 pieces but only one arrived. Paid 14 times more than I was expecting.

Ordered the 3/16"-1/8" step down Barb fitting; the 1/8" end fit perfectly, but the opposite end was sized for a 1/4" hose. Very disappointed.
