Purchased these for the month of October to light the roof of my house. The cables are strong and easy to work with. I was able to cover about half of my ~1000 sqft roof with this 100 feet set. It looks nice because its one long string and not multiple 30ft or 50ft sets. Also, I believe this helps a lot with waterproofing. I left the lights installed for 3 months and they lasted through freezing rain and snow. The controller still works and allows for a few affects, but I left mine on solid.Overall these are the best valued string lights that I could find and work perfectly for outdoor accent lighting. Note that the ends of these lights are not a standard female electrical outlet, they have a custom connector that only accepts more of these lights. You can add an additional 4 strings for a total of 500ft of lights, which is a LOT of lighting packed into one controller.

It's hard to tell from pictures just what you're getting, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out the wiring is encased in a clear plastic sheathing that makes them feel sturdy. I was worried it was going to be flimsy wires like in the fairy lights. The lights are so bright and look so good on my white Christmas tree. No fancy gimmicks or special tricks....just good lights, sturdy and bright! I bought 2 boxes, but 1 box was enough to cover my tree. Glad to finally be rid of the incandescent lights that are so temperamental!

I bought these lights for outdoor Valentine's decorations. They are a lovely shade of pink, have good wiring, and a great length. There are 8 different lighting modes. I took off one star because they do not have a built in timer ( 6 hours on, 18 hours off) like many other brands of strings have. I had an extra outdoor timer so I simply am using it with these light. It's not a huge deal but the built in timer is a nice convenience. It does also fall back on me for not reading more thoroughly before purchasing. :-)

I believe the lights and cord are a longer-lasting improvement from earlier generations of lights. Time and endurance in weather will prove that. No bulb replacements necessary.The plug/transformers usually fail on these lights but the internal seal between the male/female connectors and the threading are a good seal from weather.The wiring is well insulated, flexible, silver was great for my application. Connecting additional sets are a breeze with good quality twist and sealed connectors.I choose to use Steady on , but the integrated remote button in the plug provides a good alternative. Lights are bright LED.The only drawback on these lights from this vendor was the limited availability. Due to an Amazon backlog per customer service.

So I bought a Warranty with my lights. Amazon can't pull up an order in my account that's 3 years old with a 4 year Warranty then why sell things when you are deleting (????) that info.I love these lights, their length and that they come with a Warranty but had some burn.It's like pulling teeth to get Asurion to honor ANY Warranty or just return it and get your money back. Amazon used to be like Costco with regards to that.I have tried to return other items (its a 44 mile drive and I am hdcp) and the label won't print or work and I was told to reverse and redo it then told it was past the return date and couldn't return it.
