Much better than the clear one
I have the clear bubble, as well as this new smoke bubble. The smoke bubble is much more comfortable as the clear one generates glare and the sun makes the inside of the helmet hot. The smoke addresses these issues. Smoke bubble also looks 1000% COOLer - see what I did there? The smoke is not THAT dark. As long as the sun is up you can see well enough, even in overcast conditions. Yes it comes with a "European use only" sticker. Perhaps this is only ECE rated? Based on my limited research 'Murican DOT ratings appear to be the LEAST stringent between ECE and SNELL. Best country in the world for Helmet safety ratings? Definitely not... but #1 for FREEDOM.

Great response time
I love the look and functionality of Bell Bullitt. I do have to say, this is my third visor. They get scratched up if you so much as look at them funny. But the visor is a snap to replace; I used a dime as a screwdriver, and the order was filled in a flash

Love it! Glad I got it!
Looks so much better than the stock clear shield! It definitely blocks out the hot sun especially here in Texas! It's pretty dark so at night I flip it up and wear goggles ( safety glasses ) because of the dark roads. I'm really happy with it!

Great addition to my Helmet
Love this shield. Looks so good on my blue helmet. It has just enough tint to keep the sun from blinding me and the bubble looks retro-cool and makes my helmet feel less claustrophobic. It's a winner for me.

Iridium Bubble Visor
Totally awesome visor. Inside tint has great soft color variations. Bubble reduces fog up. Love it!

Watch your head (when you turn it)
The is the first Bullitt helmet I've owned - I didn't realize my head was going to swing so strongly when I was at speed (over 60 mph) - I haven't noticed the swing with the 'non-bubble' shield that came with the helmet.
