I used these to hold a cover on my car. It was always flying off every strong wind, and, so far, these have stopped that. I wish I would have used these sooner.

Ordered to clamp down the short ends of a carport tarplike cover which didn't have the grommets to attach bungees like the sides do. Almost ordered slide down clamps but saw these & the reviews said they gripped tighter since they have the turn dial to tighten type clamps. Have only had them about 1 week but have had really strong winds & so far the clamps are holding.

Thumbscrew clamping design takes slightly longer to install, but is more secure - important if storing long term in windy areas.

They are better than not having them.

I bought some others and ended taking them back because they wouldn't stay latched. These are sweet because they screw shut and clamp down tight. They have a bigger plastic screw so don't think I have to worry about them breaking off or cracking. I have them on a tarp which I replaced on a tent shed that tore. They work great and love the string that comes with them.

These clips are strong and very easy to use! Holding my boat tarp on in every windy weather we had so far!
