Eclipse Professional Tools 65-171R Automatic Center Punch, Tool Steel, 4" Length Blade

Well made, nicely machined and comfortable to use. I’ve been using it a while and have had no problems or issues with it.

Had one for 10 years, kept its edge sharp. Bought another one recently. A tool for pro's. Quality steel.

Sadly this punch stopped working after 20 or 30 strikes. If I hold the punch at a 45 degree angle, apply a small amount of pressure and move to 90 degrees, it might strike hard 1 out of 10 times. The rest of the time the pin just slips in.

I use it a lot at work. It is a great punch. Nice heft and feels solid. Time will tell.

ECLIPSE is a classic whicj never fail and last all live, use it is a pleasure.

Great British brand, bought three to go with my others to spread out among my tool bags and workshop. Useful in so many situations for marking a clear defined point on any material. Priced at an extremely competitive point. Quality feel to the spring loaded action delivering an excellent mark.

Testé sur du bois dur, il fait le job. A voir dans la durée s’il tient le choc :) Je joins une photo d’illustration (zoom), en usage standard je fais un « point » moins profond. Note : penser à enlever la petite cire qui couvre la pointe, sinon vous allez croire que cette dernière est en plastic

smidigt med en centreringsstans som skjuter av och jag slipper famla med hammaren. Tyvärr så är inställningen av hur hårt den ska slå inte så exakt eller återupprepningsbar. Ibland slår den hårt och ibland löst fastän man inte skruvat på den vilket resulterar i ett inkonsekvent resultat. Då jag mest använt den till "oömma" sysslor så gör det inget om den slår för hårt eller om jag behöver använda den flera gånger för att få det önskade resultatet. Jag skulle dock aldrig använda den för något mer detaljerat eller om jag skulle behöva ett tillförlitligt resultat.
