OVERDRIVE Expansion Track Speed Kit

I purchased this for my 6 years old grandson. He thoroughly enjoys the starter set he got for Christmas last year and wanted more track. I ordered this from Canada and even with the exchange it was a good buy and the speed of delivery was great. Would recommend.

The expansion consists of two straight pieces of track. It works best when combined with a curve expansion kit to allow for some more creative track designs. If your looking to create a longer straightaway to boost all the way down just the speed kit will be sufficient. I would suggest getting the rail kit as well if you do that so you can boost down the straightaway and through the curve since the car will slide along the rail.

Very cool, but... shock didn't work right out of package. Will see how customer service is and update soon. 12/07/16 Customer service was great! Car only needed to be reset (little button on bottom of car). Lots of fun for my 10 year old nephew and the adults too!

Purchased this to add to existing track. Made it just big enough to enjoy. The original is just a tad to small. They are easy to put together as well.

An absolute must and well worth the added track configurations that can be created. We love this product and the entire Anki OVERDRIVE line. From day one of setup, it has provided endless fun for everybody in our house. We have both boys and girls ages 6, 9, 12 and 16 that have been entertained along with their friends and us parents also. Well worth getting extra cars.

Accessories are fine but Anki's customer service sucks! There is no direct link to them. all you have is a list of questions from which to choose. Who has time to searach through thousands of questions to find one that matches your own problem? Trying to get two cars to sync with an Androidtablets and failing miserably. Grandsons very disappointed. Sending this one back!

While Anki Overdrive products are very pricey they at least do what they are supposed to to. The speed expansion track set doesn't do anything special to make the cars go faster other than provide a longer straight road for the cars so that they are able to gain speed on the straightaway. There are only two pieces of track included which doesn't seem like much when you open it but my son was happy with the amount of possibilities that adding just two pieces created in his track making ability and the cars were able to reach greater speeds.

I bought this and some other Anki Overdrive stuff for my grandsons birthday. once we got the tablet and the system to sync up he loved it. first item that actually gets used since the tablet. expensive setup but smiles and laughs are worth the price. anki support is GREAT they walk you through everything if you are not a digital whiz.

Quick Review: If you are considering buying this expansion kit then you must already have Anki Overdrives Starter Kit....What an amazing concept in racing tracks and a must have for all boys! (and fathers too lol) This kit adds 2 straight pieces of track which simply adds to the fun as you can build different configurations of tracks. Allows for a long straight away to really get the cars moving! We also bought a corner kit which also adds 2 corner pieces for the same cost here on Amazon. Highly recommend Anki Overdrive and all the expansion kits they have available...this is one well thought out toy! My son and I spend hours together playing with this awesome track.
