I'm a manly man. I don't like soaps with strong sweet scents of that have too much lotion in the mix. This soap does a thorough job. It has a very slight gritty texture to it and it washes off easily. If you have really DRY skin then maybe this soap may not be for you. In that case you definitely seek out something that does have a good amount of lotion in it.
