Big bang for the buck
In the heart of my cozy Pine Hollow den, my home theater was a symphony of mediocrity—sound that fizzled like flat soda, with my subwoofer whimpering instead of roaring. Desperate for a fix, I scoured Amazon and stumbled upon the BlueRigger RCA Audio Subwoofer Cable (25FT, Dual Shielded, Gold Plated RCA Connectors) for a mere $21.00. The promise of dual-shielded, oxygen-free copper and gold-plated connectors felt like a siren’s call to my audiophile soul. Little did I know, this cable would unravel a sonic odyssey that transformed my evenings into pulse-pounding escapades. The package arrived, and the 25-foot cable, sleek in black with gleaming gold connectors, looked like it belonged in a recording studio, not my humble setup. I unplugged my ancient, crackling RCA cable, which had more static than a bad radio station, and threaded the BlueRigger from my AV receiver to my Klipsch subwoofer, tucked in the corner like a shy beast. The cable’s flexibility made navigating my cluttered entertainment unit a breeze, and the gold-plated plugs clicked into place with a satisfying snap, promising a connection tighter than a vault. I queued up Inception for the ultimate test. As Hans Zimmer’s score swelled, the subwoofer unleashed a deep, visceral rumble that shook my couch and sent my cat bolting. The cable’s dual shielding—braided copper and aluminum foil—banished interference, delivering bass so clean it felt like Leonardo DiCaprio was planting dreams in my living room. The 24 AWG oxygen-free copper core carried every low-frequency nuance, from the film’s earth-shaking explosions to the subtle hum of its quieter moments, with zero hum or hiss. A review on Amazon called it “a budget cable with premium punch,” and I couldn’t agree more. Emboldened, I hosted a movie night, cranking Mad Max: Fury Road. The BlueRigger turned my den into a post-apocalyptic battlefield, with engine roars and crashes vibrating through the floor. Friends, usually unimpressed by my setup, gaped as the subwoofer growled like a chained beast, all thanks to the cable’s flawless signal delivery. Even vinyl sessions on my old turntable, connected via an amp, sang with warmth and depth, the cable proving its versatility beyond home theater. Months later, the BlueRigger remains my sonic lifeline. Its durable PVC jacket laughs off my clumsy cable tugs, and those gold connectors still gleam, corrosion-free. For $21, it didn’t just connect my subwoofer—it connected me to a world of immersive sound, turning movie nights into cinematic events and quiet evenings into concerts. Pine Hollow’s no concert hall, but with this cable, my den pulses with life, drawing neighbors to my doorstep, lured by bass that beckons like a forbidden dance. The BlueRigger isn’t just a cable; it’s my ticket to audio ecstasy, proving that for a few bucks, you can buy a whole lot of wow.

Lesson Learned,,,, Again.
Started the oddesy of putting together a new HT system at Best Buy. The speakers in question were not a "deal", but they were at least the same price as every place else you could get them. And I ended up getting a pretty good deal on the Denon Receiver. Of course if you are going to buy the big ticket items, you will need cables, speaker wire, banana plugs, HDMI cables and on and on. Out of pure convenience, I picked up several items that I would need at the same time. I have to be honest, I was fixed on the price of the big ticket items and I didn't pay attention to the price of the cables I had picked up. I bought a 24' "Rocket Fish" LFE cable, which is a "middle of the road" quality cable at BB. It was not until I got home that I realized this cable was $45. So I came here to Azon and started looking around for stuff where I found this cable for $10. When it comes to quality and performance, who among us (that are not electrical engineers) really know what the difference is between cables? Unless you are moving from a bottom of the shelf cable to a high quality cable, I doubt very much that any of us could tell the difference. So as far as how good this cable is with regards to sound quality, I think its as good as anything I am likely buy to replace it. If looks mean anything at all, I can tell you that this thing is BEEFY. The cable is nearly twice as thick as the Rocket Fish The plugs are robust and the fittings are very nice. Based purely on looks, the cable is very nice. It looks like it means business and feels like it's made out of great material. It connected to the LFE ports with a nice amount of friction, not to tight, not to lose, and with out any play. The cord is not TOO stiff, but not flimsy either. And the sound? I can't tell the difference at all between the Rocket Fish and the BlueRigger. But The DT Pro 1000 Sub sounds amazing with either, so I am very pleased. What I can say however is that the cost of the BlueRigger is $35 cheaper. Ok yes, this is a 15 ft cable compared to a 24 ft cable. But BlueRigger makes a 35 ft cable for $18. And at least on the OUTSIDE,,, the BlueRigger cable is hands down nicer. I found this to be case across the whole spectrum of accessories that I bought. With a bit of research, you can get all of the accessories you need on Azon LOADS cheaper, and generally, if you choose correctly, of better physical quality. Total bill for accessories through Azon, $68. Total return to BB for same accessories, $198.

Can't beat the quality for this price
The cables seem to be of excellent quality and work well… however, they were very loose on both RCA connections. The RCA connectors had no “spring” to them. I tried every RCA connector on my system and all were the same - very loose… so it was not the Amp or Sub-woofer connections (plus I have years of experience connecting equipment to this system). So, I used some pliers and gently tried to tighten their fit. It was difficult since the connectors had no "spring" to them. I have purchased Blue Rigger cables before and have been very satisfied over the years of use… and I will continue to be a supporting customer. One star from perfect, because of the connector issue. P.S. - This is replacing another 30' sub-woofer cable which used the cheaper shielded coaxial style of cable... I would avoid them, they break down over the years and produce spotty/unclean signal over this distance. It has happened to 2 systems I installed and both were replaced with the BlueRigger cables... softer more pliable and much sturdier connection.

Works as described
Nice cable, no noise. Used for a run up wall into attic and across 12.5 ft room and back down to relocate subwoofer.

Extremely Nice Cable, Wish It Came in a Split Mono Version
I received this cable on August 25, 2015. I had purchased it for use in a hifi system along with a Wharfedale 8" subwoofer. I had read good things, but I was still surprised by the quality of this cable when it arrived. I also use BlueRigger HDMI cables, and I am very happy with those, so I bought this as well. It is a very thick, dual shielded cable, and the ends are gold plated and fit snugly with no play. It was exactly what I needed. Bass was crisp and clear, no hum or interference. I ended up replacing this with a MediaBridge cable because I discovered that if I used a cable with a split mono lead, I could get a bit more input level and a noticeable gain in output. I wish that BlueRigger made a split mono version. I briefly considered buying a small splitter adapter and a second one of these because of how nice it is, but the cost would have been too high. If your subwoofer uses a crossover that only requires a single RCA connection, then this is the cable to get. If you can get a bit more level using a splitter, or a split mono cable, then go that route because there is a noticeable difference. Pros: -Thick, high quality cable -Gold plated ends -Snug fitting -No hum or interference (dual shielded) Cons: -Not offered in a split mono version All in all, I will be using more BlueRigger products in the future and I look forward to seeing their line expand. I rate this cable at 5/5 stars and highly recommend BlueRigger products. For the cost vs. quality this is easily one of the best brands on Amazon.

Great price for a nice cable
As many other reviewers have previously stated, the build quality of this cable belies its inexpensive cost. It is strong, yet flexible enough that it does not present any issues with cable management. The cable stays where you put it and does not sag nor coil or do anything other than what it is supposed to do. The ends fit snugly, but not overly so. They are not apt to pull out accidentally like a less well made one would. My first BlueRigger purchase was an HDMI, which I have reviewed in positive terms. I liked it so much, I purchased a second one and am very pleased with both. I've had the subwoofer cable several weeks now, and have come to the conclusion, after many hours of listening with scrutiny, that there is a slight, but definite improvement to what I was hearing before. The bass has just a bit more authority, a bit more overt. Bass lines are tight and pitch defined without being out of balance to the rest of the audio mix. With movies, the listening experienced is enhanced as well. Some soundtracks have a very deep, but almost imperceptible bass that provides a sense of impending menace. Now I'm feeling the sound engineer's intent most clearly. For the money, you really can't go wrong. Good build quality and a realistic improvement in performance. A good buy!
