A bit expensive IMO, but they do the job well. We used them to hold a tarp during light tornado, and they performed as expected

These poles are a game changer! It rained all weekend and our camp kitchen and dinning area stayed nice and dry thanks to these. Being fully adjustable made it so easy to throw up a canopy with a large tarp, bungee cords and tent stakes. Very lightweight and easy to stow away.

I read reviews complaining that these extension poles were flimsy and twist locks broke easily.After getting them and seeing exactly how they operate, I can safely assume most of the poor reviews were due to not understanding how the twist lock operates,Also those who claim they are flimsy... after a close look at some of the photos taken I did not see any support lines used to stabilize the poles when used.Again not the products fault.

I used these to hold up one side of my shade sail over my patio. The fence is only about 4' tall, so I bought some brackets to hold these poles in place.I wouldn't expect them to hold up a shade sail in the wind and fully extended -- I extended these about halfway for each part, with the lower sections helping to stabilize and strengthen the upper parts. They feel secure, and sure enough, when the wind picked up, they held up just fine. I've had them up now for 2 weeks here on the New England coast and they've held up. I like them so much I've ordered another pair for the 3rd floor deck!

Bought the poles to put up a canopy but I never got to use it in the summer to try it out.I finally tried to use the pole to put up my Christmas lights since the pole extends. This is the first time trying to use it. I tried to tighten to lock the extension in place but it wld not even lock, instead, it just snapped off. It looks like pole had been used and returned. I wished I wld have tried to use it when I first got it. Now it has been 3 months. Past the return.It’s garbage! Don’t waste your money.I shld have gotten something that cost more.I still think this cost too much for a piece of junk.

These poles are built very sturdy and of excellent quality.

I was quickly disappointed. The bottom ABS foot peg was loose and would not stay on as well as the top plastic tip. I had to put duck tape on to make a snug fit. An easy solution but one that should not have to happen. After I did repairs the poles worked well but I dont like that i have to be cautious as to not lose parts

Did the job very well. Might have liked an open loop at the top so would not have to run the tie through for tie out.
