I love this camera! This purchase is my 4th one of the same type of WIFI security camera from BESDERSEC. I bought different types of cameras from different manufacturers (of the same price range; of course) but none of them beats the Pan Tilt Outdoor Security Camera by BESDERSEC, in terms of performance. The second one I bought had a small issue. When I contacted BESDERSEC support team, they were unable to resolve it but had sent a replacement camera right away at no cost to me. The 4th one that I bought, apparently has gone though some modifications: its physical size is smaller (see attached picture: the one on the left is the new model), its SD card slot is tilted to the side to avoid unseating the card when the rubber cover is closed; its video is clear and crisp. But more importantly, it has dual antennas which enable the camera to pick up WIFI signal far from the router. I installed the camera 32 ft away, with concrete wall in between my WIFI router, yet the camera picks up WIFI signal at full strenght!9/10/2020 Update: The new designed camera, the 4th one that I purchased, is a disappointment: it got off-line quite often and is not able to correct itself to come back online.

The only good thing about this camera is the greeting announcement. This camera works great @ first, after 6 months I don't get alert on time sometimes a day later. The video recording is 5 mins long, a pretty long time to review the footage searching for something. Alerts that really matters humanoid feature various zone detection settings. The other cameras gives off alot of false alert when light from cars hit the detection zone. Check out the pictures it's Android no cloud services. Audio is great and you could set various welcome or warning alert you will not be disappointed in that area. The screen has three setting full horizontal or four camera on one screen and you can rotate the camera if you wanted to. The zone detection has a arrow in it which is a waste of time as many time I don't get alert. after it being out side the white turn to brown.

I purchased 4 of these cameras to use at home. These are great PTZ camera for the price. They Pan/tilt and have digital zoom. The HD picture is great and they can be connected to your network either with an ethernet cable or using WIFI. These cameras require 12v power to work and come with a 12v plug-in power adapter and an 8 ft of power cable. The cameras have 8 Led's. 4 of the Led's are IR ( infrared ) led's and glow red at night for B/W night pictures. The other 4 Led's are super bright white led's and are used at night to record color pictures at night. The white led's can be manually turn on/off or set to come on automatically at night when the camera senses motion. The camera also sends you and alert through the app when it detects motion. The cameras also have a microphone and a speaker so you can listen and talk to people.My experience with Besdersec customer service has been outstanding. I had several questions that I needed to have answered. I communicated with Besdersec c/s through eMail. Each time I received a response with in 24 hrs ( keep in mind that there is an 11 hr time difference between them and the eastern US). They answered all of my questions and went out of their way to made sure I was completely satisfied. I am very satified with purchasing these cameras. I have read through a lot of the questions and complaints on Amazon about these cameras. I will try to explain what these cameras are and are not.First of all these ARE $50.00 PTZ cameras. They are NOT $500.00 PTZ cameras. If you are expecting $500 cameras picture quality and performance go buy a $500 camera.These ARE wireless IP wifi cameras. These are NOT wireless/battery operated cameras. They require12v power to operate and come with a 12v power adapter and 8 ft cable that needs to be plugged into a 120v wall outlet.If you are going to be using WIFI you need to make sure you have a strong WIFI signal at the location where you mount the camera. The operation and picture quality of these cameras depends 100% on your WIFI signal. If your signal is weak your picture will be choppy, pixelated and the Pan/Tilt operation will be intermittent. These are great cameras for your home to see what going on outside your home. The picture is very clear. If you want to catch someone stealing your packages off you porch or front door this is a great camera for that. You will be able to id them. If you want to see if anyone is around your house, walking their dog on your grass or coming into your yard this is a great camera for that. You will have a good picture and be able to see who is walking around your house, property or coming to your door no problem. Don't buy these cameras expecting to read license plate or facial recognition at 500 ft. These are great cameras for home security and they do everything and more that I need them to do. I am veery satisfied with the HD picture of these cameras. Besdersec customer service has treated me great.

This camera may look intimidating but lemme tell you its so simple. I've posted several random action clips. I caught a near head on collision when a guy went the wrong way down my street and met a pickup truck dead center frame from 80 yards out. The same night I had a 3 a.m. armed stranger beat on my door. With the ability to record my own short message, I recorded Mr.T saying his line from a Rocky movie that says: "I pity the fool who tries tk take what I got!" Its pan\tilt speed and lighting is all a.djustable, This is a top notch, pro quality camera. Theres ONLY 2 things I'd change pertaining to this camera. 1) I wish I would have bought at least two or three and 2, I don't like the micro S.D. card slot on the backside of the camera out where anyone could steal the card if they walked up behind it. Fortunately I keep my cheap indoor camera trained on the outdoor camera for security reasons. I think I'm going to also attach a small dental mirror to the camera outter frame to watch its own back. Its either that or superglue the rubber door shut making the card much harder to access. For the orice of $42 bucks I think you could spend two or three tines that amount before attaining the same level of quality and display

UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: We weren’t getting notifications about movement anymore. Turns out the App updated and cleared my push notification setting. All good once my settings were redone.I purchased this camera based on the reviews. They weren’t wrong, great camera!! Nice picture, able to pan and tilt, 2 way communication, push notifications to your phone when motion detected.... just awesome! Exactly what I was hoping for.
