Madden NFL 08 - Playstation 3

I dont like ps3 games, but bought this for my partner and he has enjoyed it, so it was worth it

Forgot how fun Madden could be before they started mut.

I FREAKING LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!! i bought this on Sony PSP, Nintendo Gamecube and now Sony Playstation 3 it the best on the Playsation 3 with the HD graphics and everything else this reason i would say this is the best is because of nostagic reason when i played football and when i had a favorite team and player which is the Atlanta Falcons and Micheal Vick before the incident and when he was on the falcons, The Falcons are still my Favorite team but the Eagles no where close and not so much i do recommend getting Madden NFL 12 amazing soundtrack nice mixture of genras. 08 soundtrack is more of a Rap/Hip-hop soundtrack,gameplay awesome and very simply and very very easy and the story campaigne mode whatever you wanna call is simply you got 4 difficulties rookie,pro,all-prop and madden anyone can get into this game you can up to 4 controllers so you know know this is awesome for local couch play with buddie just a great game orverall.8.2 out of 10

Some significant differences from the PS2 version; on Pro Mode; you're difficulty is arbitrarily set to all-pro and cannot be changed. Franchise Mode is arbitrarily set to Pro difficulty. And I honestly hate the fact that the difficulties are arbitrarily set as people may have their own preferred difficulty level (mine happens to be "pro").

Madden NFL 08 I pre-ordered this on Amazon, and when I got home from work on Tuesday it was already waiting for me in an Amazon box.Played against my little brother and so far so good. In-air collisions and using key players and many other new features make the game just much better then the 07 version. The graphics aren't so much better but it looks a little better.I looked up a review on Yahoo! and they said that the 360 version is better:"On the surface, the releases on 360 and PlayStation 3 look identical. However, when you stack them head-to-head, it's clear which is better. Madden on 360 is fast and fluid, thanks to a sharp jump in frame rate that allows the game to move twice as fast.PS3 owners, unfortunately, are greeted with a Madden that is sluggish in comparison. Action stutters far too often, particularly on injuries, penalties and turnovers. There's also a half-second delay between pressing the hike button and receiving the ball in your hands. Even close-ups between play look dull when lined up against the 360's sleeker cut scenes."My brother and I was wondering about the hike problem too because often we pressed the hike button too much causing us to throw the ball right away because we weren't sure if it hike or not until a half second later....... I can probably live with this but it is annoying.My friend is getting it for his 360, so I will try it out there and see if it truly is twice as fast and a lot better or not.I still don't understand why the play selections are the way it is, showing the other person the plays your picking. Need the old style where you just see X, O, Square below each plays. Or do the old school Blitz style and allow you to make the play selector disappear or something. Madden NFL 08
