nice piece of kit for hanging ham radio antennas
This thing is cool. I love how it folds down and stores the line and throw bag. It's easier/quicker than a rope bag but probably takes up more space. Recommended!

I like it!
Well built throw line bag. Only issue was figuring out how to get the two corner straps out, which you use to step on while opening or closing the bag. After I did that it works great.

Nice bag with hours of enjoyment for anyone with access to kids
Ok, so this cube is slicker than snot! Getting it to open is a bit tricky at first. Just step on the loops at the bottom of the bag grab opposite corners lift and twist...and get that joyish kid feeling when it pops open. The first time you have to push the loops out of the holes to step on. Closing is as easy as taking one corner and giving it a spin, she will collapse faster than that guy who took one hit from Mike Tyson. Tip - DON'T your kids see you open it and watch them try to open it for hours....like those metal links no one can take apart or get together. Another tip - when you get you throw line (purchased separately), tie to a tree and start walking. Give it a good stretch. I tied the other end to my bumper for a bit. Then tie one end to a weight (does not have to be a throw bag) and put it in one of those side pouches. Then flake the line in the bag....flaking is a fancy word for dropping the line in the bag in all different directions. You do not have to coil it up, that takes forever.

Stiff not a Stein but functionally equivalent
The one I had prior to this was a Stein. Functionally, equivalent. But otherwise, very different. Weaver's fabric is much stiffer. No 'handle' loops when closed like the Stein had. Didn't think much of it but apparently I use those a bit when carrying or chucking the closed cube to the tree. It is labeled with arrows for open and close. Maybe because I'm a lefty but those are 'backwards' for me. Seems sturdy. At this price point, I expect I'll purchase this again when it's time to replace it.

Rugged.
Heavy duty. Made a slingshot catchbox out of it after seeing some youtubers do it. I’ve hit this thing with 3/8” steel going over 200 fps and it has no marks or damage visible. Folds up nicely to fit in my backpack. Would probably make a nice throw line cube as well, haha!

Calidad y precio
Ideal to cary throw line, but tricky to open/close
The Cube when open is great for holding throw line - at least once the line no longer has memory. When collapsed, it is compact and easy to carry. However, it has a tall learning-curve associated with opening and closing! To open, it helps to place flat on ground with label side down, step on a tab, and then (close to the ground) start to unwind the top. Do not lift too soon! Direction to turn is indicated. Practice.
