My sister was diagnosed with cancer and was the have radically extreme chemo and radiation treatments every weekday for 30 days, with a port inserted under her skin. I added this port seat belt cushion to a care bag of items to help get her through or at least help her be more comfortable throughout this horrible treatment process. She absolutely loved this cushion as it really gave the padding needed when she wore her seat belt when traveling to and from the Cancer Treatment Center. It was very easy to install on her seat belt and was so soft and comfortable. We both highly recommend this item, she especially highly recommends it. thank you

Update: I had the unfortunate experience of being rear ended in my smaller car and smashed between an SUV and a pickup truck. I’m certain this pillow is what saved my port from being damaged and protected me from getting bruised by the seatbelt. Highly recommend it!I needed something to provide some cushioning and padding for my chemo Port in the car. It definitely does a decent job and is long enough to cover my port and part of my abdominal incision. A little stuffing was trying to come out from the seams but not a big deal. I do wish it had more cushion to it for a softer feel, but I’m overall happy with it. It stays in place well on the seatbelt and has worked well in the driver’s seat and passenger seat. It can be a little bit annoying when removing the seatbelt and leaving it attached-it restricts the seatbelt’s ability to automatically retract when unhooked-but the good news is that it stays where you need it to stay when it’s on! Glad I found this!

After my breast cancer surgery, I started using this pillow. I will continue to use the pillow, because I don’t like the seatbelt being so tight across my breast area. The velcro on the pad is very strong, but it does occasionally slide down the seatbelt. I also really like the pattern it’s very pretty and colorful.

Worked perfectly for when I was brave enough to be taken on car rides again. Easy to install and comfortable enough to wear on longer road trips than the market. Getting OUT of the house was a joy, not worrying about moving my sternum was a relief. Could use a wee bit more padding to be perfect but then you may have issue with seat belt.

Fabric pattern changed from original advertised product, but to a pattern I would have preferred. I did have to reinforce/repair one Velcro strap because it was barely attached. Despite those, it works wonderfully! The mastectomy pillow keeps seatbelt pressure off my surgical sites and allows for comfortable driving/riding experiences. I absolutely love the breast cancer ribbon with flower fabric... I’d love to see more breast cancer themed fabric (with guarantee it will be that fabric( and I’d buy another!

This worked like a charm to use over my port so the seatbelt didn’t rub. Was soft and easily removable. I’ve bought 2 more for others since getting mine as a gift.

For those who have had breast surgery, a pacemaker implanted, or other procedures that create a tender scar tissue on your chest or shoulder, this pillow is amazing. It makes the ride and the necessary seat belt a complete non-issue. Enjoy the ride!

Good protection for surgical site

I purchased this ahead of my mom’s double mastectomy. Everything is as described. It’s easy to install, nicely padded and you can even add more stuffing if you want it thicker thanks to little side zippers. Mom said it was perfect as is, though, and really appreciated it for the ride home after the surgery. We’ve kept it on the seatbelt for now since she’ll need it when going to follow-up appointments while the incisions heal. It gives her some peace of mind that she’ll be relatively comfortable in the car.

I bought this as a gift for my sister, after her going through surgery. She loves it. Says it easy to put on over the seatbelt, it’s very comfy and she’s not worried about any rubbing on her wound site.Very good purchase

Quality was average. Velcro fastening not sewn properly and coming apart.

I have arthritis in my left arm,neck and shoulder, and have found this seatbelt cushion, really comfortable. It stops the seatbelt from digging into my shoulder and chest. Would definitely recommend.
