2014 release from the Australian Indie seven piece ensemble. Four clicks and we're off, galloping through realms on a phase-shifted, hydra-headed, many-armed and muscular monster. This Australian beast of a band with a bear of a name and a thick herd of members delivers many things on this warped song-cycle: A skeleton of propulsive krautbeat fleshed out with a liberal dose of citric sweetness; flutes and harmonicas bleeding through the mix often and welcomingly; an early-'80s heavy metal / fantasy vibe; and many lovely left turns into psychedelic mellowing, both groovily and sometimes with just a dash of DMT dread. The whole thing is just gooey with tape manipulations, saturations and wah pedal, yet many tasty tidbits bubble to the top.

Green Lightning Record!
Excellent mind-expanding psychedelic record! A good friend turned me on to this on New Years day and I absolutely HAD to seek it out. There are killer vocal, guitar & tape effects splattered throughout, as well as some awesome song structures. This 'Green Lightning' record is nothing short of a brain-melting experience you owe yourself and ALL of your rock n' rollin' friends!Highly recommended, this is making heavy rotation in my soundtrack to the new year.

An enjoyable trip from start to finish
Takes off like a jet plane to the end of the fourth song then the album meanders along from then taking many twists and turns. Very reminiscent of 60's psychedelia yet a very contemporary take on the genre. A triumph in my book an enjoyable trip from start to finish.

Llegó muy bien y todo, sin embargo la caja llegó algo golpeada y no no muy bien protegida, aún así la portada del disco y disco llegaron en perfecto estado, versión estandar el disco de color negro (espero poder conseguir otra versión del disco mucho mejor) Recomendado.

Powerful Band on Vinyl
All the King Gizzard I've bought for my turntable has been incredible. This LP arrived in gr8 condition and sounds epic too. On vinyl I swear it sounds like the band is in my basement with me rocking the album out, could not recommend more!
