Avid S1 EuCon Controller
I like the S1 controller because it is a pro controller that is very easy to connect to just about any DAW. It connects seamlessly with Protools after downloading the necessary EuCon Controller software (Free) that allows connections between your S1 controller, any other EuCon enabled device and your PC/Mac. This allows you to get away from your mouse, or at least use it sparingly. The S1 gives you access to hundreds of different apps and allows the studio user to function on an higher level of quality in the studio session. I highly recommend this device.

Valuable Production Tool
The S1 is paired with Pro Tools on my Mac via EuCon. Makes mixing down longer programs so much more convenient and quicker. I don’t have to monkey with faders on the screen anymore with now having the real thing. The integration of all the features, i.e. eq, pan makes the unit one with the PT software.

Large format features in a small package
Amazingly fully featured, has many features that the large format S6 has. Folder tracks, VCA spill, high resolution metering, EQ/DYN Graphs, free Tablet App for iOS, Android or Amazon tablets
