Tripp Lite SRCASTER Rack Enclosure Cabinet Heavy Duty Mobile Rolling Caster Kit

I used these heavy duty wheels to turn my SRW10US tripplite wall mountable cabinet into a mobile floor unit, and they work excellent! The only issue I have is that some areas inside the cabinet make the 4th screw and associated nut hard to install (if not impossible) unless the screw direction is reversed, contrary to how the diagrams show the screws should be used. This is more a flaw of the case itself in my opinion.If you're looking to turn your wall mountable tripplite cabinet into a unit that can sit on the floor and be moved around, then I'd definitely recommend these wheels. Another reviewer noted that there are wheels that will work available at local home improvement stores. If you go that route, make sure you measure the distance between the holes on the cabinet itself, as I found quite a few wheel options were close-- but not close enough.

I recently purchased a Tripp Lite SR4 13U rack as a home server rack solution, and one of the suggested combos included this item. At first I was reluctant to spend this amount on a set of wheels so I disregarded it. After more thought, I realized that I'd likely want to move it around at some point either for relocation or just to get access to the servers. I'm glad I decided to get them, because I've moved the rack plenty of times during normal maintenance and installation of servers / gear.So, the short story is that they are a bit expensive, but worth it just for the convenience factor. And, they are heavy, sturdy, and I do believe each one could support 500 lbs.

The bag of hardware seemingly exploded in the box during transit. Off to a pleasant start. Since the exact rack that I have is in the features description, I figured I was safe ordering this kit. Wrong. The bolts are about half the length necessary, meaning a trip to the hardware store and even more money on something that should have come with such an expensive rack. Then I noticed that for each of the four casters, two of the four mounting holes are nearly out of reach. They're obscured by the rack itself. If I want to mount these properly, it will likely mean disassembling the rack far more than Tripp-Lite intended or would like me to. Lastly, there is no means of leveling the rack that I can find and the casters are not the type that have brakes. That means looking for some wedges or boots of some kind (wonder how much they charge for that kit).

I installed these on the Tripp Lite SR4POST13 13U 4-Post Open Frame Rack I bought. Easy to install, work very well. Only complaint... you can't lock them down. That has not been issue since I have a couple of hundred pounds of equipement in the rack and the floor is level so no problem. But it would be nice if they at least two of them had locks. I thought they were a little pricey, however, they are made very well.

If you are buying a Tripp Lite rack then buy these. They make the rack so easy to move around. Unfortunately they do not use the same size of screws as the rack and they don't get shipped with any extra hardware. Just keep that in mind.

I put my tripp lite rack in a confined area, so making it mobile was very necessary to get to the back as I needed to. It doesn't come with the legs as shown in the picture, but I'm not sure why I would want those anyway unless I were needing to level the rack due to placing it on an uneven surface, but then what would you need the wheels for?

These weight a ton but they're heavy duty and quality! My company has been installing servers and networkign equipment for a few years now. We usually purchase our equipment based on Amazon and Newegg reviews. We purchased this item recently for a client's server setup and we really like it. The kit contains 4 super-heavy duty casters and the screws, nuts, washers necessary to mount them.It does NOT include the little rubber feet that you see in the pictures. This is unfortunate since my rack doesn't have them.

They are what the promise to be and fit under the rack. However, I realized that these are identical to ones you find at HomeDepot at 1/4 the price.
