Mighty tasty but....
This is really good stuff but is a tad expensive for our ready tapped out budgets. So if you are looking for a treat and you have the money then by all means get it. The taste of mango salsa overcomes the bitter taste of the price.

Love The unique flavor as well as all the chunks of fruit throughout this wonderful salsa.

Taste horrible
We ordered this salsa, hoping it would be as good as some we had bought from a farm. This stuff is horrible! Do not order it! It also had a no return policy. I wish I could give 0 stars

Good salsa but not my flavor combination
I'm torn on this salsa. It's tasty and nicely spiced but there's something about the flavor combination that doesn't fit for me. I haven't yet tried it for cooking -- that might be better. By no means is it a bad salsa just not one of my favorites from Stonewall Kitchen's product line.

Strangely flavorless: tiny sweet, itsy heat, not sour, mango?, doesn't taste like much at all
The quality of the ingredients seems fine. Packaging good. Not exactly bad, but I would never bother to eat it again. I don't know how one can make a salsa this flavorless. Where does one find a mango without flavor? I wouldn't know how to make something with these ingredients that tasted like this. Edit: I do not change the rating, but I took the rest (70%) of the jar and used it as a simmer sauce. I sauteed a head of garlic, a finely-chopped medium onion, and added some very mild chile powder. Even after simmering down to a bubbling paste, it seemed this 'salsa' had watered down the raw ingredients. If I were forced, on a "food network" cooking show to compete to try to use this watery, flavorless jar into a key component of a dish, I would: 1) Use a lot of oil (cheating) 2) Add salt 3) Add lime to taste (probably juice of two small limes) or quarter of one medium lemon 4) Two head of garlic, minced, browned 5) Half cup of onion, browned or to transparent 6) Minced carrots, softened 7) Take off heat, set aside 8) Two fluffy cups of fresh, uncooked cilantro, fresh basil, and/or parsley 9) One cup cup chopped half-decent tomatoes Take the cooked ingredients and use a cold bowl to put the citrus juice and tomatoes and cilantro/basil/parley to try to assemble a loose salady salsa. Now, pretend you didn't have to do all that work. You now have a palatable salsa. The outcome was yummy, but I am pretty sure this Stonewall "mango salsa" was a lead weight on the meal. I have never tried a 'salsa' that seemed worse than tap water to a recipe, so I give it a star for novelty of badness.

The very best I've been able to find!
I've ordered additional bottles of this Salsa 2 times. For me, its the very best. I use it more as a cooking sauce with meat such as tuna. I also use it on salads. If there's anything out there that's better, I'd like to know what it is.
