Perfect Replacement
My Xbox One X quit working in 1080p and would only display in 720p. Information on the web suggested that this was the part that was most likely to have gone bad, so I ordered it to give it a shot. I don’t usually buy ICs on Amazon because they are usually overpriced, but this one was only a few dollars more than normal distributors and it had free next day delivery with Prime. As soon as it arrived, I disassembled my Xbox and got to work. Note that this isn’t a repair for somebody not experienced in soldering small, narrow pitch parts like this. I have a lot of experience, and it was challenging for me. The PCB dissipates heat very well, so it’s challenging to remove the part, clean and retin the pads, and install the new part. My soldering iron could not me.t the solder without using a hot air station, but I didn’t heat the board from the bottom.I used my stereo microscope to do the work, and I don’t know if it would be possible to do without using one.I used hot air to remove the original part, and this took much longer than I’m accustomed to. I was worried that it wouldn’t come off, but after what seemed like forever, the part finally lifted off. After the part was removed, I added globs of leaded solder on all of the pads, including the center. I needed to use the hot air along with the soldering iron to get new solder on the center pad. After that, I removed all old rhe solder with wick, again using the hot air to assist. Then I cleaned the area with isopropyl alcohol.I used solder paste to attach the new part, applying it along the side pads and center. I placed the new part on top of the paste, then hit it with the hot air. Again, this took a lot longer than I’m used to, but after a while the paste melted and the part shifted into place. I kept the hot air on for a while longer, then pressed the part down with tweezers and removed the hot air while holding it in place. There was a lot of excess solder that had squeezed out, so I again used hot air while using a fine tip soldering iron and wick to remove the excess. When it looked like all of the solder bridges were removed, I cleaned it all up and inspected each side. It looked like a good job, so it got another IPA cleaning. When all of the flux had been removed and the board was cleaned, I put the Xbox back together enough to test it. Considering how much heat I had to apply for so long and the time it took to get every pin with the proper amount of solder, I kind of expected it not to work. To my surprise, it booted right up. I tried out the 1080p setting and it displayed perfectly. I closed it all up, then played a game for a couple of hours to test it out. It’s working exactly as it should now. This worked perfectly for me, but if you are looking to buy this to repair your console, be aware that it is a challenging job to tackle. If you’re not really good at soldering tiny components, this isn’t the repair for you.

Excellent Replacement
Product is as described 👍 Installation is a real hassle. Be prepared to spend a couple hours on this. I recommend having experience desoldering/soldering really small components. Heat gun is a must.My xbox one X came back to life!
