Works great for what I needed
I followed instructions provided by ifixit and ordered the proper controller parts that matched my controllers id. That one is important. I broke my R2 button a while back and I didn't want to buy a whole new controller considering the price and current economy. So I decided to do it myself and purchase these. The triggers and bumpers work perfectly. They are labeled unlike the other buttons so I only installed the triggers, bumpers, and dpad. I like the PlayStation aesthetic and did not want to part with my cross, circle, square, triangle, and PlayStation button. I will say, my start and share buttons did not look removable. They looked like they were part of the frame. I did not read the instruction guide recommended by the seller but that's because I wasn't looking to replace anymore than the trippers and bumpers. I wasn't initially planning on installing the dpad, but I decided to take the risk and dismantle further, and it was a success for me. Just as well, the touchpad replacement looked sketchy at best. Again, the guide probably explains why it didn't come with the sensors or anything. I was simply skeptical about it working in the first place considering the following factors. The stock ps4 touchpad isn't the greatest. On console, it functions fine but I'm not convinced it functions well because of all the sensing boundaries and filters set by the games/console. It's also a little thinner and more polished than the touchpad provided by this seller. So considering the touch wasn't great in the first place, the touchpad from this seller was thicker and more coarse, and the bad reviews about the touchpad, I didn't even want to bother with it so I never used it. I wouldn't be surprised if it is as shoddy as people mention. To be fair, it can be a pain to make custom buttons, when the button you are customizing has hardware and software tied to it. All-in-all, my experience was excellent and I got what I wanted from this.

Little mod for smooth operation
Worked and looked great I decided to keep some out to and keep a different definition on my color scheme but are wood and l1 and l2 buttons had to take a little bit of the gold plating off to get the button not to stick otherwise they work great!

Perfect
Look great be careful if your gonna swap the share and option buttons I cut where was recommended and needed to cut deeper because the share button jammed when shell was assembled remember you can always cut more you not less I had to clip it down further 3 times before it was perfect also the touchpad is a process take it slow and use a hair dryer at low heat to warm up the adhesive

Cute, but not all buttons fit and is made of cheap plastic.
The buttons were easy enough to install. Taking apart the controller was the hard part. The front buttons for fine for my model JDM-001 1st generation controller. However, the TouchPad needed modification to fit as the sides were too tall to fit the plastic cover that is supposed to be inside on top of the little electronic board. So I cut the plastic cover the make it more narrow. The L2 and R2 buttons don't fit at all. I might be able to sand them down to fit, I don't know yet. I don't know yet about R1 L1 buttons, they seem to fit, but haven't been able to fully close up the controller yet until I get fitting R2, L2 buttons. I bought R2, L2 buttons that actually fit 1st gen. I would say, unless you need button replacements that actually fit the models described. Don't bother as it is just cheap plastic that is cheaply painted, not actual chrome metal. They look nice, but you can just buy chrome spray paint and DIY or use nail polish.

Great Choice
The eXtremeRate buttons are always a go-to customization option for me. They're well made and fit perfectly. One thing to note with these chrome buttons: you will likely need to sand the paint off the base of each button. The mirror finish of the chrome buttons causes a slight suction on the silicone pad they press into. It was causing a button sticking issue for me. Once sanded down, I have had no issues.
