Great taste, we used a lot of paste and it was t too spicy.

I have tried several different brands. This is the best vegetarian tomyum paste I ever had. One thing I’d complain about is the packaging. It came with the lid slightly open, and the oil was spilled all over the packaging material.

This paste is very good. It is nearly as good as my local Thai restaurant. I had some as broth by itself and put a spoonful in some veggie ramen. Delicious! I think after I use this to make some proper Tom Yum Soup with all the ingredients, it will replace the restaurant.

The lid on the jar was crimped in an odd way, and as a result it was completely impossible to open. I tried everything, including hot water and banging/cutting it with a knife. Amazon won't allow me to return it despite it being defective, so now I am out $15.00. The other brand of tom yum paste I ordered through Amazon back in August was never shipped. I am very disappointed.

Many years ago I used to go to this local Asian market to buy vegetarian Tom Yum soup paste because there was nothing else that tasted as good as any other brand I bought elsewhere. Having moved away from driving distance from that market, I have not boughten any brand since then that tasted that good. I took a shot at trying this brand from Amazon. I was not disappointed! This one has a very similar flavor profile as the one I used to buy. It is super rich in flavor! You really don't need anything else in your soup except for maybe some Thai basil. This will now be a go to Tom Yum brand!

Good paste, a little on the sweet side and not as much tartness as I would like but a squeeze of lemon perks it up.

I love Tom Yum soup. About four months ago I got a bottle of Tom Yum Paste and absolutely went bonkers over it. I added different vegetables, chicken and had it three times in a week until it ran out. I could only find one site online that sold that brand. That brand also had MSG in it. But, since I buy a huge chunk of my stuff on Amazon, I did a search and found this...and it's better than the other one. NO MSG. The only possible flaw is no directions on how to use on the bottle but...DUH...you just add to taste, a little bit at a time. All good, natural ingredients, just boil your water, add the chicken and veggies, let it boil for a while then add it and stir or add it when cooking.

Alright, this stuff is delicious. I generally add shrimp that I buy and my own vegetables to the broth but whatever I throw in it tastes incredible afterwards.You can get something like this cheaper at the Asian market by about five dollars, depending on where you live, but you pay for the delivery- especially if you don't live close to one. I think it's worth the couple extra of dollars if you want to explore flavor profiles.
