nice thick, smooth, stiff leather, actually a little stiffer than I would like but it is good. I am using it as a strop for various wood carving chisles. Can't bend it enough for smaller chisles.

Paid for 2-3 oz. and instead received 9 oz.! On top of them not knowing the difference in leather thickness, they were almost 2 weeks longer in getting it to me than they were supposed to! The leather that they are trying to sell is also of pretty poor quality. If I wanted to buy crap I could have just gone to Tandy.

Very dry and stiff and the way it was folded up for delivery left cracks but I can still practice with it
