Sportlock Aluminumlock Series Deluxe Range Case

So this box has fit and quality issues. The latches are hard to line up and the box itself is too thin. I would never use it for airline travel.It will however, take your guns and gear safely to and from the range. It has a lot of internal space and padding. I love the spotting scope mount, it really helps with bullseye shooting.

This case holds all of my range gear from pistol to supplies tools and targets. my scope and stand fit as well as my 20 oz co2 bottle. one hand for the case and my rifle in the other. The latches take some getting used to but it serves my purpose perfectly

This product performs as stated. It is a larger gun box which is easily modified for your own personal needs. (added storage pouches for targets, tools,etc., relocate gun rack/tray) The three latch/lock system takes some getting use to but; the side swing door are appreciated when using the spotting scope and the gun box is sitting on a range table.Overall I find this product to more than fill my needs and so far has proven to be a handy, strong and well thought out product; I look forward to many years of useage.

It's just OK. I do not like the triple front door arrangement at all. Trying to close it back up and get the side flaps to line up is an issue. The clasps are cheap. If you want to use the scope holder, you better have a straight scope as one with an angled eye piece will not tuck in on closing, as there is a divider in the middle of the case. The gun holder is just foam that does not hold the guns very securely at all. Save your money and buy a used Gun-ho or Pachmayr or a new Strong Case. I'd like to sent it back, but since it had free shipping, the terms and conditions say I'd have to pay that as well as the cost to send it back.

If you only go to the range once a month this should be fine. But any more than that and the cheap quality will be a real pain. Doors don't fit well, doesn't open or close easily, fitment is awful. You really can't snug the gun holder tight to support the guns, better to remove it and leave them flat.

The range box is durable and serves my needs very well. However, I have placed the gun tray on top of skids that hold it onto the shelf midway in the box so I can use the shelf like a drawer to keep my cleaning kit below with the gun tray on top. Its great with that tray layout. Overall I'd give it a 10 out of 10.
