I was the owner of a Lidl blender prior to this purchase. The Lidl blender was very powerful (cheap) but well built and it lasted for many years. It was noisy, but had various extra container accessories and another blade. This Salter blender is much quieter, but not as powerful as the Lidl blender, therefore, it takes longer to fully blend fruit (not a major issue). The Salter two containers and lids are a softer type plastic and I find the lids not as easy to screw on for some reason, so I hope the screw thread do not get damaged at some point. I suggest for Salter to use bigger sucker feet for the blender to help stop movement, otherwise all okay for the price.

Good product

We use this every day for our breakfast smoothies. Nice powerful motor and sharp blades. Only downside is that it says you cannot immerse the blade mechanism in water so cleaning it is difficult if you want it to remain hygienic. I rinse it under running water and wipe over with a damp cloth.

Best blender using over 3 years

Had some good reviews. All turned up on time. Unfortunately jug was warped so seal poor. led to a few messy efforts to get to work. Was easy to return and get refund...now to find another one!

Un buon prodotto, a primo impatto sono rimasta molto delusa per la presa UK perché la spedizione era in Italia, avevo pensato di restituire il prodotto, poi ho deciso di usare un adattatore, così ho risolto il problema. A parte la presa il frullatore funziona benissimo e sono soddisfatta della sua potenza di 1200 watt.

Bought to replace an older model of the same blender. Our old one was probably 12 years old and on its last legs, but it was such a workhorse that I decided to buy the same brand again. Powerful and fast

The main container warped after one wash in the dishwasher. I contacted the maker, Saltier, and after initially saying they were going to send a replacement, they said there was an issue with customs, so couldn't send it. To Ireland.
