Soft comfortable, a bit pricey I will say but definitely perfect for what they are.

We bought the first walking baby shoe for our little one in two sizes when he first stared walking. They fit very nicely, look great and are very soft on the inside for baby feet. The soles are very soft so the little one can feel the ground on their feet as they walk - however when used outside on the pavement they can get scuffed very easily and our heavy footed todder managed to wear a hole in the shoe in around five outings which works out at over £3 per walk. I ended up using insulation tape on the ends of the shoes to prolong the life a little longer.Be sure to measure your child's feet beforehand. I used an age guide since the little one wasn't around when I was ordering and the size 6 was a little too big for our toddler at 17 months - size 5 fitted much better.We will try the size 6 soon as he is just growing into them. His walking has greatly improved over the last couple of months - so hopefully the cost to wear ratio will be a bit lower.

Love these little shoes, our little boy started walking after lockdown started so we wanted something soft but suitable for walking outside. These have been great as they give some support and protection without being too rigid. As we measured ourself using the technique described I was unsure how they would fit but they are easy to put on and take off and seem comfortable as the leather is so soft. The colour and leather became scuffed quite quickly around the fronts and edges as they are very soft and being worn by a stumbly 15 month toddler! I am glad I found these as they have been great little first shoes.

Like that these shoes are made of leather allowing the foot to breath and not become hot and sweaty. They are amazingly flexible for little feet and the soles grip well. Have noticed some remarks regarding the leather scuffing at the toes but obviously this is to be expected when the child opts to crawl instead of walk and is a small price to pay so that the feet can breath which is not the case when plastic is used instead of leather. Am absolutely delighted with my purchase.

Traditional little first shoe,?velcro tab very secure for tiny feet. Good sturdy design well made. Fits my one year old grandson really well, perfect for him taking his first steps and getting used to shoes. We bought the shoe sizer from Clark’s to make sure we got the correct size. He doesn’t seem to mind wearing them either. He did have some trainer tripe shoes which gave him a little blister, there are lovely and soft around the ankle, but are supportive too. He has chunky feet so not sure they would fit well on a toddler with slim feet.

These shoes are so good for wide feet/barefoot style as they have good toe box room for growing feet and don’t squish them like other shoes can. I’ve ordered other shoes from dotty fish and they can be hit or miss (odd shapes, some loose and some tight) but with the Velcro on these, you can control them and baby loves them already compared to other shoes which he won’t let me put on! He keeps playing with the easy to open Velcro fastenings so it’s a good way to teach him how to put on his own shoes. Can you please do larger sizes as we are on size 7 already!!!!

Arrived promptly. Lovely shade of blue, material and size is true to size. Great first pair of shoes for my little boy.
