Another great Wolf-Garten tool
This saw is very well made as one would expect from Wolf-Garten. It is incredible sharp, sturdy, locks in firm with the poll arm. It also comes with a nice hand held grip attachment so that you can do close work. Great piece of craftsmanship.Pros: Sharpness, firm lock into handle and does not bend or wobble while in pole arm.Cons: Sharpness (I needed first aid).

great but plastic handle
bought last fall but just using now. wonderful and sharp saw. I got extension pole so can use either hand held or with extension. My only complaint is within a few hours of use the handle is coming apart. I am taping the handle which should be fine. Otherwise, I would buy it again.

Wolf Garten is Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought this product because I lost my first one, actually my son lost it. I have used my last one for a few years and it was always sharp. This system is awesome how you can interchange the different attachments so fast.

Not as good as old version or different saw that had the hook on the end
They changed the handle and this particular one does not have the hook on the end which made things much simpler

Heavy, off-balance, and too large teeth.
I bought the WOLF-Garten 7231009 Tree Saw based on the other positive reviews. Then I bought the 59" handle for it. I found the saw off-balance using the small handle... and when I put it on the longer handle it was still off-balance, and the smaller branches I wanted to cut were just pulled back and forth because the large teeth grabbed instead of cut. It may be that I just had different trees/plants than others, but it didn't work for me. I send back this unit, and we kept the handle as a nice handle for a paint roller... using hose clamps to attach it and gaffer's tape to keep the hose clamps safely out of the way.I would suggest the ARS SC-EXW18 Telescoping Pole Saw for those who found this Wolf-Garten saw as I did. The ARS saw is light, balanced, and has finer teeth for cutting smaller branches and things like old Scotch Broom. The only problem is right now the price is climbing... but it's a good saw. Also for really tall, thick branches, Silky Pole saws work great... read the reviews for which one.

Great cutting tree saw
I've got several years worth of overgrowth I'm dealing with this year. I've been through several tree saws at the local Home Depot and Lowes stores but none of them compare to this. I'm sawing through 5" and 6" limbs in seconds. It attaches to all my Wolf-Garten handles (and came with a short one). The only complaint I've had is that the rope pulled out of the keeper that goes over the handle button. I just pushed it back through and tied a knot in it.
