Absolutely amazing form (especially for pre-bonsai) and Japanese aesthetic (which is severely lacking on the planter-front, across all platforms) ..... but, absolutely horrible quality. Every time you pick up the planter and move it, flakes of the “copper” are left everywhere. If you truly enjoy cleaning ...... go with this copper version. If you don’t enjoy cleaning every time you pick up a planter ..... go with the black version.

arrived with big chunk busted off and a crack all the way down the side. Shipping box was in perfect shape. The damage was very noticeable and shipped anyway.

The copper finish and detailed look with ultiple tones makes this ideal for many applications. I plan to buy another. Love this planter.

Using it as a cache pot for a staghorn-type fern. Had to seal the drain holes so it would hold run off water. Looks great.
