Oh Hell Yes!
2009 C-1 Hellraiser with stock FR1000. I replaced the trem arm and mount a while back with the Floyd stock arm And it really was'nt that much better then what I had. Never could get it adjusted and to stay like I liked it.Happened to run across this arm on Amazon and gave it a try. Oh I can say is Oh Hell Yes!!! Adjust the tension on the trem arm and it stays exactly like I put it.... WAY more responsive then the wobble around crap with the stock arm. Perfect. I also have an Ibanez RG with the edge 3 trem that's push in arm and I always said why don't FR do that....Well damn if they don't-I Will be spreading the word to my fellow FR users. Love it!!!

Installed without any mods to the guitar
Much better design than the stock unit. I am sure once Floyd runs out of OEM units, it will ship new units with this improved model. Thank Floyd Rose for making this newer design available, for the price, I doubt Floyd is making any money off this upgrade, IMHO. On my B.C. Rich JRV Edge Electric Guitar the arm is the old style with the collar and the Allen clamp screw. This thing is a design failure and comes loose at both ends. Once I discovered this new unit, I was ready to give it a try. The BCRich version has the smaller hole where the unit clamps, however that is because there is a small non threaded section on the bolt portion of the base unit. First thought was to drill the plate hole out, however when I tightened the unit, it still seated and was quite tight. So the threaded part fits through the hole in the plate, if you drill it out then the non threaded portion is slightly too long to allow the nut to tighten. Either a washer on the top or bottom of the bolt would be required. So I did nothing but tighten the bolt with a little blue Loc-tight on the treads, this pulls snug the bolt into the plate where the section of the non threaded portion is. Yes, if you look closely the the receiver section is slightly standing off from the plate but the overall unit is very tight and solid. Lucky this BCRich guitar was routed on the back enough to get a 12mm socket wench over the nut and with the blue thread locker solution get a very tight fit. All this will become clear once you have the unit in hand. Very happy with the outcome and now to also melt some faces!!!!

Works great, excellent price
Great price and feels even better than the regular screw on bars. This is much more like a LoPro trem is had on my old Ibanez Jem. I highly recommend this. It was easy to install (was a little more of a chore on my Charvel because they didn't route out access to the underside of the bar inside the spring cavity, but that's a problem with the guitar, not the floyd rose bar). .

Quit screwing around with screw-on tremolo arms and get push in style
You would think that having a tremolo arm that doesn't Clank and stays where you want it might be an easy task but even in 2018 guitar manufacturers still can't get it right.... that is where this replacement arm comes in. I am fed up with those stupid screw on trouble alarms. If I ever move the arm counterclockwise it eventually unscrews and becomes loose and no longer stays where I put it. So I have to constantly be screwing it down and tightening it and even then there's a little bit of play and I can hear it clanking. That's why this push in style replacement tremolo arm is so awesome. You just remove your old worthless screw-on style tremolo arm and replace it with this awesome push in style and the beauty is that there is a set screw which controls how tight the arm is and it stays where you want it or loose if you want it loose. And because the socket has a plastic piece it's nice and tight with absolutely no clanking. The only issue is making sure this will work with your Bridge. It was a little too large for one of my bridges but I was able to file it down and it fit fine. These things are so reasonably priced and high quality I'll be placing them in virtually all my guitars.

Used to replace old style arm
I used this to replace the old thread in style with the coupler adapter thing and the nylon washers. It worked perfectly and is way better than the other style. It sits in one spot and doesn’t flop around. The metal is very good and thick, the threads were cut very clean and deep. I have no doubts this will last the lifetime of the guitar
