Its purely a shutter button
I needed a small compact shutter button so that I could take pictures/videos from far away primarily on Snapchat. This button is a shutter button ONLY. It will ONLY snap the picture, holding the button does nothing. Releasing the button is what snaps the picture. Mostly useless but I guess they were cheap (yeah I bought two) 2 stars because it works and is quite compact.
