Perfect for learning to walk on hard floors
Great fit, works perfectly. My 10 month old is taking steps. Because we have scored concrete floors we can't let her wander around as much as she needs to learn to walk. This helmet is perfect. Generally she does not fall down walking. Instead she tends to lose her balance while holding on to the edge of the couch. In those situations she usually rolls around and ends on her back. The helmet has already saved her at least 3 times.

Not for Young Crawlers
This helmet did not work for my active 5-month-old ... it was much to bulky —my baby couldn’t lift his head to look up when he would crawl due to the thickness of the helmet. If he fell over, the weight and shape of the helmet made it impossible for him to roll into a crawling position or to get up by himself. I promptly sent this back and got a traditional baby helmet that was much lighter and actually functional. 2 stars are for the fact that the padding did seem to protect him, so perhaps it would work on an older (stronger) toddler, rather than an early crawler.

Not for us
Good idea, material is nice and soft however my daughter hates it. The string it's pointless, she can easily undo it, they should have a Velcro strap instead. I missed the window to return it because kept saying I'll return tomorrow... tomorrow and kept forgetting.

Babies heads come in all different sizes. This was very big.
The concept is really good. I purchased it for my grand daughter. She’s very tiny so it’s very big. It’s very high quality. Wish it has sizes to choose from.

Nice fabric with thick foam
thick enough to prevent the impact. no smell and nice fabric but the sizing a bit off to my son's head. the strings to tie the hat are just right on top of his ears and it seems to bother him alot . so i returned it.
