But is it right for YOU???
It really IS like a mild Botox treatment!Ummm, I may or may not know that from personal experience, haha!Okay, yes, I know it from personal experience. As a little background, paracress has been long used as an anti-inflammatory and numbing herb, it's even called the toothache herb.It also 'numbs', as in relaxes, the skin.Guess what, that's exactly how Botox works. While it isn't going to have nearly the same dramatic effect, I found it to be enough of the difference to where this is always going to be in my makeup/skincare bag.Clinical trials using it in this way have indicated that it works on all but about 25% of the participants, so there's a chance it might not work for you. I'm thrilled to be in the percent that it did.It has some of the same chemical components as Szechuan pepper, which has got to be safer than the botulism in Botox, right?Paracress is almost unheard of outside of Brazil. This will be our little secret! For reference, I'm in my early 60s. I've always taken care of my skin and stayed out of the sun, so I probably have fewer wrinkles than most people my age, but trust me, I've got them.Hopefully this review will help you to make a decision about whether or not you'd like to make the rather substantial investments in this product. It's definitely a risk since it doesn't work for everyone. And I can't stress enough that it's not going to be super dramatic change. But heck, I'm excited at even small changes.xxoo

Provides some moisture and hydration, but that's about it
This serum is an opaque, dark golden brown color and more of a watery consistency. Spreads easily across the skin and 1-2 drops will cover your entire face. Quickly absorbs fully into the skin. Has a mild earthy scent that doesn't fully dissipate once the serum is absorbed. Aside from providing a bit of hydration, I can't see any benefits after about a week of use. Certainly nothing that I would call "botox in a bottle".Key Ingredients:Skin brightening: HydroxytyrosolSkin-identical ingredient: Glycerin, Sodium HyaluronateSoothing: Bisabolol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice PowderFull Ingredients:Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Cell Extract, Aqua, Pentylene Glycol, Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Acacia Senegal Gum, Propanediol, Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Acmella Oleracea Extract, Hydroxytyrosol, Bisabolol, Xanthan Gum, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder, Sodium Benzoate, Parfum, Benzyl Alcohol, Potassium Sorbate, Limonene

What’s Hydroxytyrosol, you may wonder?
59! A very good year, I’m told. Hope to get there someday! But what about this very labby-sounding “Oliveda Hydroxytyrosol Serum?” For such a high-tech sounding approach to refining the complexion, we constructively suggest that the good folks at Oliveda list the ingredients here. Educated consumers will always want to know what’s going on our beautiful faces. What the heck is “Hyroxytyrosol” anyway? With detective work, a visit to the Oliveda website begins to unravel answers. It’s a phenolic compound found in olive trees and known for its antioxidant properties. Some believe that it can potentially enhance blood lipid levels but to date clinical research has not reinforeced this. Fortunately, the ingredients are almost exclusively natural with sodium hyaluronate midway down the list.

Face firming serum
Botox in a bottle, no needles required, at a fraction of the price of injectables. Who wouldn't go for that? I had to give it a try.My experience: it tightens the skin temporarily. Beyond that, my results have been minimal. I'm not sure how Oliveda defines "light lines" but I have shallow 11s, those above-the-nose vertical lines often considered a main target for Botox, and the F59 did not affect them at all. I did a control test with the light lines around my eyes -- applied to one side, not the other. No difference.Fragrance: mildly unpleasant, reminds me of the cheap shampoo we had to use when I was a kid, sort of an astringent odor. The scent dissipates quickly, but my first time around, I used this all over my face and decided I was not going to do that again. Some users have reported amazing results with the product. Worth checking into as it might work foryou.

I don't see any firming or reduction in fine lines yet
Oliveda F59 - Hydroxytyrosol Corrective Firming Face SerumThis serum has a woodsy scent that is reminiscent of vetiver. The consistency looks like it would be oily a but as soon as I apply it to my face, it absorbs so quickly that before I have my full face covered, the areas I first applied the serum are already dry. This is good since I don't have to wait as long for my serum to dry before applying my moisturizer. It says that it reduces the appearance of enlarged pores and can smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Unfortunately I just don't see much effect from this serum yet after using it for a few weeks.

So far, it's OK
Oliveda F59 - Hydroxytyrosol Corrective Firming Face Serum | Instant effect light linesI have dry sensitive skin. I was prepared to not like this serum, thinking it would be greasy. But it's not. It soaks in immediately and I can't "feel" it on my skin. However, the looks of it is very off-putting for me. It's brown and looks like motor oil. It has a slight smell, but doesn't smell a bit like olives....I'm not sure what it smells like. As far as results, I haven't used it long enough, but since it's so pleasant-feeling on my skin, it's one serum I plan to use until I hit bottom.

🤔
I thought this was supposed to act mildly like Botox. Well, I am about to turn 39 and I am just beginning to see the start of crow’s feet. It’s so slight that I thought this would be a good spot to see if it really does anything. It did nothing to my faint crow’s feet, and it is a sticky, brown goo that stinks and doesn’t fully absorb.
