The flat white comb was definitely helpful, but the rectangular blue scrubber was seriously amazing!!!! My son had thick yellow cradle cap for 5 years and this brush set along with awesome cradle cap shampoo got 90% of it off his scalp. This set is money well spent.

This is a great little kit for helping clean scalp. I recommend bathing the baby and getting the skin/scalp very wet for a long period of time so that it gets soft and moist on the crusty part. Then apply lotion or oil to keep it moist, and gently work the silicone comb and to loosen from the skin, then use the fine tooth comb to remove the debris from the hair. Be patient, and do this over many days, rather than trying to do it all at once. The skin of the scalp can be raw and irritated if you're too insistent on getting it all at once, and this can lead to scabbing, which just makes the problem worse.

The brushes are comfortable to hold. They are pretty soft, but they are still scrubby enough to offer help. They also included a fine comb to comb out the stuff, and a straw, for some unknown to me reason. And two toothbrushes that you can put on your finger.

I have had 3 kids and every one of them has suffered from cradle cap. Sadly, with the first two, I didn't have a kit like this but it has been wonderful with my youngest. It is the perfect set and has saved me a lot of frustration and my baby a lot of uncomfortable times. I highly recommend it, especially as a gift. This is one of those things that no one ever tells a new parent they will need but trust me you will. Hope this helps!

It’s nice to have a set like this on hand for when cradle cap hits your baby’s head...not all babies get it and not all get crazy severe forms of cradle cap, but man, it’s something else to deal with. This set gives you some options to deal with the scaly mess on your babies head. I don’t think you necessarily have to look at it from a “steps” approach, take a “use what works” approach here. If the silicone scrubber works at getting your baby’s cradle cap off, go with that. I find that using baby oil to soak works, followed by a scrubbing with a comb, and then lifting off all the scales with the comb. With this set though, I think the scrubbing can be achieved effectively with the silicone brush /any side, just control the force). Follow with a gentle hair washing/bath. :)All in all, it’s good to have a set dedicated to dealing with he scalp separate from the comb you use to brush your baby’s hair.

This set has everything you would need to treat scalp scales on an infant. The thin silicon brush is very soft and has a handle for ease of application. The larger scrub brush (for more moderate and severe cradle cap) has “cone teeth” on one side and “flat teeth” on the other. A nice feature is that the kit includes two finger scrubbers, which make for easier exfoliation of small concentrated areas. This is a nice kit to have available for a very unpleasant condition.

When my first child suffered cradle cap back in the day, I searched the internet for a bunch of way-too-gentle techniques that didn't work. Eventually I found real advice, and was able to do a much better job on subsequent babies. This kit contains the basic offenses against cradle cap, a set of brushes and combs meant for physically scraping that stuff right off the scalp.I don't mean it to sound quite so dangerous... but the brushes and combs are just great for gently (I promise) going over baby's head while (and this is important) ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING.I guarantee you'll find at least one system in this kit to get the job done.

This is not a miracle solution, but it is a good set for helping with cradle cap.
