Bostitch Office Impulse 30 Sheet Electric Stapler - Heavy Duty, No-Jam, White (02011)

Surprisingly quiet & fast. I like the non-slide feet. Works great!

I had an earlier version of this stapler that wore out after eight years of heavy use. I replaced it with this one from Amazon. Although this one is no longer US made, the quality is still excellent. I'd compare it to an plain Jane Italian made espresso machine...no bells and whistles but rock-solid reliability. Two important things about this stapler that make it stand out: First, it does not use an AC adapter and plugs directly into the electric outlet. Competing brands claim to give you flexibility by using batteries or an AC adapter. But that is false economy because you will trade off the force with which this one can staple right through heavy paper. This model works particulary well with Speedpoint SF 4 staples sold at your local office supply stores (they cost a bit more but last a long time). They work better than the Bostich branded staples. Second, the red indicator light warns you when you're about to run out of staples. It is not perfect but does the job. There's nothing "pretty" about this stapler, but it is a low key workhorse that does just one thing really well: Staple! Highly recommended.

So tired of my handheld stapler that I had to hammer on my desk every single time to get the staple to lodge correctly before I could actually staple anything. I was patient though. I lasted a year and a half. But then I capitulated and saw this electric stapler and said to myself, "Self, what are you doing banging around and swearing. Just get a new stapler." So I did and I love, love, love it! Seriously. I know, I know. It staples like a stapler should and I shouldn't be so impressed with it but I am. I mean I loaded the staples after taking it out of the box and it WORKS! Like just sitting there on the corner of my desk. AND, it has rubber feet so it doesn't move around! It stays put! Hello?! Are you not impressed? I put a stack of papers in together and BAM! they are stapled together! It is amazing and impressive. I bought one for my daughter to take to college in fall. I can't believe I thought these were only for in my office at work office and not for my home office. I'm such a dork. Honestly, get one, or two. And I have trusted the Bostitch brand for years so it was only natural that I went with it. You will not be disappointed. Maybe not as crazy excited as I am but you should be.

I've had one before (over 6 yrs.) and it just quit working one day so I ordered this new one. So far it's working great. It makes quick work of stapling.

The boss of staplers! Or so my mom says. She works in a title department and staples daily. It's a life and wrist saver. Staples about 30-35 sheets each time, super quick, easy to use. She does bring it home in case someone gets jealous haha so it is portable. It's also adjustable due to where you need to staple, size, etc. Looks clean and sleek, and it's a hefty yet good size. Overall we all need one.

Update: Turns out there are three holding chambers in the staple area. The 2 on the sides are for staple storage. Only the chamber in the middle is for active stapling. The stapler is working great now. I have changed my rating to 5 stars. I bought this product based on the reviews; it has only been a little over a month and it stopped working.
