The rug is the bomb
This rug is the bomb... I used to have my mother's rug that was 30 yrs old which was made exactly like this rug that I had to finally throw out because it was falling apart so I tried to replace it with other cheaper rugs that just didn't hold up or clean your shoes so I finally broke down and bought this rug and I am happy to say it has solved my problem of people bringing dirt and debris into my house on their shoes...I highly recommend this rug if you have the same problem I have of high traffic and people not wiping their feet as this rug will actually remove debris by just walking on it but does do a better job if the feet are actually wiped

Great Coir Mat for a Sheltered Space
I ordered one of these mats in February, 2023, to use in a sheltered area of our front porch. I measured first, and the mat is the perfect size for the entryway where it is being used. It has held up very well during the end of a rather cold, wet winter. So far it seems very durable, and it does seem to work well to remove dust and dirt well before people (and our pet beagle) enter the house. I liked it so well that I then purchased a second one of the same size for the entryway between our garage and our back hall. It works far better than the very old cloth mat that was there before, and finally rotted out. It also is catching a lot of the dirt and debris that used to get tracked into the house.

Simple, effective no-frills coir doormat, for a decent price (at the time I bought it, anyway)
Not claiming to be a "doormat expert", but due to my location and weather, doormats at my home take quite a beating and I tend to go thru them pretty quickly, so have tried a lot of different styles and variants. This is the best no-markings plain coir mat I've come across in a long time: 75x45 cm, about 3 cm thick, and it was on sale for $25 a few days ago (end of October, 2023). Imo that is a very reasonable price for this type of rugged mat. Should have bought two.NOTE: A few days later [Nov. 3, 2023] the price has gone up by $10 bucks... Now listed for $35!

Great
I used this to make my husband a birthday gift. It doesn’t shed, it’s still holding up strong and wasn’t too thick but not super thin. I think it really was a good purchase if you want to craft with it.

Appearance and function
I wanted to wait to review until I'd seen how well it was holding up. It's been a few weeks of frequent wet dirty shoe scrapings and it is still holding together; no shedding yet. I like that it doesn't have a plastic backing.

Perfect outdoor mat
I searched everywhere to find a natural coir mat. I have had it for about 3 months so I know it stands up to rain storms, leaves, sticks etc. This is the mat to buy! I pick it up, give it a shake and everything falls off. If it is wet I turn it over and the mat dries quickly in the sun. I love having something so beautiful, so natural, at my back door off the garden area. Also it cleans off the bottom of shoes and boots easily. I do have a plastic/rubber? one in front of my studio in the backyard and the plastic/rubber? mat is very difficult to get to "prongs" to release dirt, leaves etc. There is no comparison between the two . I would highly recommend the natural coir.
