Mine showed up correct color
I think the other review must have received a mistake because mine showed up with the proper white color. Other than that, it's your average siding block and gets the job done of mounting an exterior light. You cut a rectangular hole in the siding, nail the back piece behind the siding, and then snap on the trim plate in front of the siding. I mail ordered it because it matched the ones the siding contractor installed years ago but the local home stores didn't have.

Ordered a white and instead got a cream looking white. I had to repaint this to matte white to match the rest.
