ordered these shoes for a lyrical class. the XS size fit my daughter's shoe size 11 foot perfectly! for the cost, i was impressed by the quality. she has just started dancing in them so i am unsure about durability but the shoe seems very similar to the higher cost ones sold at dance stores.

i ordered a size up and good thing because it was a much better fit for my daughter who is normally a women's size 8.5. We measured her foot as in the instructions, and according to that measurement, we were supposed to order a Medium. but i didn't trust the measurement instructions so we ordered a Large instead and GOOD THING. just a tad loose, but she is able to dance well with them.reason for my 4 stars instead of 5 stars was because the padding inside of the shoe was catching on her toes each time she pointed them. in between the stitching and the edge of the inside sole, it was just under a centimeter, but it was enough for her toes to keep getting caught in them. but her daddy came to the rescue and added shoe glue to the edges and problem solved - no more catching of the toes.would've given it 5 stars if we didn't have to put in the extra step into fixing the shoes, but all in all, a good buy and my daughter is very happy with it.shipping was also quick and arrived earlier than expected.

Wayyyyy too small. Leather was weird to dance on and my feet felt cramped. Definitely not for teens/adults.

I needed a shoe for hula but needed it to be very discreet as hula is usually barefoot. This little number protects the ball of my foot but is not obvious on stage. It is a snug fit and I recommend wearing them around the house to ‘break them in’. I wear a size 6 street shoe and purchased the small. Now the leather is confirmed to my foot and I find them pretty comfortable. I would recommend to anyone looking for a 1/2 shoe.
