DC Premier Collection: Justice League Superman Statue, Multicolor, 12 inches

Love it,very colorful, nice size for the price. Nice design and detail

We ordered this for our son on his 13th birthday. He loves Superman, and this was the special gift that holds sentimental and personal value. The statue was broken at his ankle. We exchanged it, and the one they sent in exchange is also broken, in the package, before we even took it out. Now the return window is closed. Not happy.

I will start with a warning: be sure to check out the ankle of this statue when removed from the box. I received two that were cracked before finally receiving the Man of Steel in one piece. I know of two other collectors who experienced the same issue (broken ankle) which prompted me to contact Diamond Select customer service. They promptly returned my email and indicated that they were going to look into the issue.I really like this statue. It does justice to the Justice League Animated Series, right down to the shaded trunks, which was a big plus to some fans and collectors out there. Anytime that you can get a resin/polystone statue for less than $150, especially a numbered piece, you can consider it a very good value.Having had three in my possession I will tell collectors that the paint job is just ok. There are some bleeds and smudges and missed areas, but, again, for the money, still not a bad value. The first statue had a blemish on both the belt and the \S/ logo. The second has a nasty bleed on the belt line and a pretty obvious fault on the \S/ logo as well. The third, which arrived in one piece, has some poor paint where his right hand meets the blue suit (pictured) - but this was not a big deal to me. I was happy to receive Superman in one piece.

The style and design of the statue is great. However the paint quality is mediocre at best. I received 2 statues with the same problem, the ankle is cracked and so has the cape where it sits in the stand. This is a common problem as others have mentioned the same issues with this statue. If you get a good one it is a definite keeper especially at the discounted price. No fault of Amazon’s shipping as art box arrived in very good condition.
