I am very impressed at the build quality of this vest. It’s actually fairly heavy and thick. Good pockets.

Make sure you size up if you’re an xl in other similar items order a xxl or you won’t be able to button the vest they say if you plan on wearing a hoodie or leather jacket underneath order up I’d suggest two sizes ..I was wearing a thin tee shirt and my normal size looked like I borrowed my kid sisters jean vest .....I’d give 5 stars cause the cut and quality of amazing but the sizing is all off from the charts and now I have no choice but to get my money back because they don’t carry any other sizes in the blue denim that would work for me 😒...I’ve changed this to 5 stars because they replaced it with a size that fit , the error my my fault for not looking at the sizing ...I love this thing it’s quality and has all the inner hidden concealment pockets that work .

i gave this a product plenty of stars because the jacket was quality made, it looks good, it feels good. But in the reviews where people say it is smaller than expect, that is not a joke. I recently returned a large vest from another company that was just a bit too small, I could of worn it if I never went thicker than a t-shirt under it. I ordered this as a replacement, even after reading the reviews about it running small. I just needed it to be a bit larger than the previous vest. When it arrived I was pretty stoked, the vest looked great. but it was actually smaller than the Large vest I returned. I don't think an XXL would of worked at this point, I would of had to ordered a XXXL for it to fit and be able to wear a hoodie under it. Bummer too, it was spot on looks wise.

I have a near identical vest made by another company. The only difference is that one doesn't have inside pockets. I ordered that one in a 3x because I wear 3x jackets when wearing a hoodie underneath. When I got it, it fit extremely short and didnt even come close to buttoning. I wore it for about 3 or 4 months anyway and when the next fall came around (this past October) I ordered this vest in a 5x in the hopes it would be a bit longer and actually button. When it arrived, it fit the same as my 3x from the other company! I tried the old one on to make sure I hadn't gotten bigger and indeed, I had not. The two vests were almost the same size regardless of being 2 tag sizes different. I understand some variation in size when comparing different companies but this was crazy. I didn't bother returning it because despite being shorter than I would like and not buttoning, I still liked it and since I would probably rarely button it up regardless, I just kept it. Other than the awful sizing, it is a really nice vest. The inside pockets are well attached and have elastic straps of two different sizes intended to secure a pistol and one spare mag. I carry a Glock 19 daily and would definitely advise AGAINST trying to carry in this vest. It is an extremely awkward fit and near impossible to safely draw the weapon. I use the straps to hold my wallet in place sometimes if I will be sitting or driving for a long time. Over all, the vest is made very well but good luck guessing the right size to order!

I love my Milwaukee denim vest super thick layers but it breathes nicely. The the inside pockets are super deep you can put a 40 oz beer in there and still button the pockets closed. Only downfall is you need to order one or two sizes above what you would normally get and it's a little short on the height of the vest

This is a well-built vest. Based on the other reviews of these vests running small, I ordered a large when I would have otherwise ordered a medium (I am 5'10'' and 160 lbs), and I wish that I would have ordered a medium. Maybe the sizes run small when you get in to the XL through XXXL range, but for the small-framed among us, the sizing seems pretty accurate (that is, the large fits like other large clothing on me, and a medium probably would have fit better). That said, the length of the vest is still right where it should be. It falls right to my belt line. It's just baggier than I imagine a medium would have been on me.The denim is thick and well-stitched. The snaps are also attached well. The color is very black (not faded or anything). The gun pockets on each side have enough room for any reasonable caliber. The two chest pockets fit a regular wallet perfectly. There are also side snaps on the bottom of the jacket on either side so you can cinch in a bit tighter.Overall I am very happy with this vest. I can't blame the manufacturer for the loose fit, but the extra bagginess will probably come in handy when I wear it over hoodies and sweaters. I would recommend buying a medium if you are usually a medium, and a large if you are usually a large. The sizing might get trickier after that.

As others have noted, the sizing of these vests is all over the place. I'm 5'10", 150 lbs, with an athletic build. I ordered the small, and even over a sweatshirt it's too large. It's not a straight cut like a Levis jacket, it's tapered, and it poofs out under the armpits. And the fabric is not exactly what I would consider "denim", it's more like soft cotton canvas. Sent it back.
