very decent prep guide!
not too many books available for MCCQE part II prep, but probably the best one of those I 've seen. Of course, more details, and more tables is always welcome.

Very complete but unstructured and partially outdated
This book gives a good overview of the kind of cases one will be faced with in an OSCE.Unfortunately, the suggested actions (history, physical, investigations, management) frequently are excessive for the time allowed in most OSCE stations, making it somewhat difficult to use it for actual group practice. In addition, some of the content, particularly emergency medicine and surgery, is seriously outdated.

There aren't proper resources at all for any of the LMCC exams as compared to the USMLE. This book is very high yield for the cases you can expect in the OSCE/LMCC2 as well as treatment/management plans. The approach/interaction with the patient is not covered however, and is something that is taught and assumed general knowledge at the canadian medical school level. For IMG's and perhaps US grads, you'll have to go through either courses or other proper resources explaining approach and vocab for that portion of the OSCE.

A good resource for residents preparing for their licensing exams
It's an okay book. Parts of it could use a little more detail and update, but overall a great resource until something newer comes along.

good.
Good book but should not be only resource. if possible the student should seek a preparation course for the encounter component.
