REESE'S Peanut Butter Sauce Bulk Jar, 4.5 lb

Great product. I put this sauce in a pump container to add a peanut butter taste to my protein shakes. Absolutely love it. I’m currently on my second container of this sauce.

I use this product during a low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) recovery. Tastes amazing. If the product is warm, it thins out, when it's cold or right out of the fridge, it thickens up. I use a spoon. Great product, tastes amazing.

I Love Peanut Butter. I used to buy a cup of Friendly's PB Topping from the restaurant. Only recently did I realize that Amazon may carry it in stock since I don't think Ive yet found an item that isnt available on this amazing site. Sure enough< Reese's sells a 4,5 lb. jar on Amazon. I have a smaller jar that I scoop about a quart in for regular use because it is recommended to refrigerate the pb for better flavor. The refrigerated product makes it a solid and it doesnt spread as easily, so keeping a smaller qty available in cabinet is user-friendly and keeping the larger jar in refrigeration maintains the longer-term taste. I have to step back my usage because i have already bought my 3rd jar in 2 months. I would prefer to put pb on everything I eat but I also try to maintain my healthy weight so I have to go a bit easier. If you're a PB Freak -be careful! This stuff is killer. I don't kniow how it took me so long to figure out that it should be available. Highly recommended, but once again I stress that it is a danger having such a large jar available.Enjoy!!!

I thought I would use this to make peanut butter ice cream and some other peanut butter desserts. I do use it for that, but less than I thought I would, and my family uses this in place of regular peanut butter, for sandwiches and for crackers. The texture of this peanut butter sauce is not very sauce-like, more like regular peanut butter, so not as easy to work with as I thought it would be.It tastes good, slightly sweeter than regular peanut butter. This is a big jar and there was about half an inch of oil floating on the top. I stir most of the oil back in before I use this. For a 4.5 lb tub, this is reasonably priced and a good value.

Online impulse purchase of a giant container of Reese's sauce. I mean, if it were a little container I would have probably looked past it. But I saw this giant container, and was adding to cart before really thinking it through. I received it quickly, seemed to have a slight leak, but not enough to be concerned. Opened it and stuck a spoon (mm, maybe finger) in and gave it a try. Has a sweet peanut buttery flavor. More syrupy/runny than regular peanut butter (hence "sauce") yet could be used in a sandwich. But this is begging to be used over ice cream, over pancakes, in satay, or other peanut based sauces and dips, Or simply by the spoonful.Similar nutritional profile to peanut butter.

SHAME! This is a good product. We bought this product before with no delivery/packaging issue & enjoyed it. So we re-ordered it... This time it arrived with a stained box {otherwise box was undented & undamaged} that smelled like peanut butter before we opened it. When we opened it the jar was open, the lid was completely off, and half of the peanut butter was all over the box. This time the jar was in a box with just one crumpled piece of paper "protecting" it. Last time the jar was also wrapped in bubble wrap...
