I like that it is very simple to use it is definitely for beginners I wish it was a little bit better instruction but overall a very good purchase would recommend to entry-level metal detectors wanting to get into detecting

My first day out I found 5 dollars in change at a park near my home within about 1 hour. It works well very sensitive

we got this for a fun activity for my husband and i to get out of the house more. we were able to put it together in minutes, popped int the battiers (dont come with need 2 9V) and we were off we have lost 10 lbs since christmas just getting off our butts :) happy hunting its well worth the money.

All metal mode is accurate, and works very well. Discrimination mode consistently give false indications, usually with no metal present, Depth indication is a joke, ... Quarter on the surface might show as a penny 6 inches down.This detector also needs a longer reach, I am 6 ft tall and find this detector to be uncomfortably short for my height.

new to all this finding treasure, I was a little overawed by the settings this has. Ranked a complete novice where metal detectors are concerned, I should have bought one that turns on and off...period! Having said that, I can only relate what my friends son said concerning the detector. He said happily that it took him about 30 minutes to master the controls and he found it very good at finding things in the garden. So again I tried but again I was frustrated trying to work out the way it should be operated so I gave up...for now. My friends son laughed at my frustration and hinted that if I did not want it, he would. I shook my head sadly and out it away until next Spring time and give it another go or two or three

the headphones fell apart when i took it out of the box.

Bought this for my wife. Used cheap detectors before and was not impressed. This one seems to work well - Found $1.78 in my mother inlaw's back yard! cannot wait to get it to the beach. I was suprised the indicators were accurate in identifing what was burried - a quarter, a nickle, penny, etc.

This is my first metal detector. It is comfortable and easy to use. Good unit.
