Works well
Replaced my wife's diving compass from her impossible-to-read old one with this one. Fit was perfect and now she can actually read it, even in unclear water. Recommended.

Does not work unless held exactly horizontal
If the compass is held even slightly off from the flat horizontal position the north part of the dial rotates to become the lowest part of the dial every time. So the compass reading is completely wrong if the compass is not being held precisely horizontal.This compass was completely unusable, and I cannot see how this could ever be given a 5* review as it simply does not work as advertised on the Amazon web page! Did the design or manufacturer of this product change recently because the one I received was obviously defective?I Returned it.

Fits in Oceanic Console, but not as well original. Great Price!
I dive maybe 10 times a year and rely on a compass maybe half the time. I didn't want to pay $90+ for a simple compass, so this compass at $30 seemed like a good deal. It does fit into my old Oceanic console but not quite as well as the original, a little loose but a piece of electrical tape to make the compass a little wider did the trick! Hopefully it will do the trick, if not, $90 next time!
