It was a little over a year and a half ago after realizing that I was hanging onto the scraps of hair that I still had left for way too long, I went ahead and just said you know what, I am officially going to be a bald guy. (And on a side note after I shaved it, I actually looked younger because the scraps in question were gray) So not knowing which call shaver to buy I checked out a bunch of reviews and I ended up with a pitbull. No they say the blades on these things I believe can go a year or maybe 18 months, I can't remember for sure but what happened with mine was the little plastic piece inside that holds the blades where they are broke a little and even though I could still use it I chose to buy this replacement anyway . A lot of the reviews on this that I read because I was going back and forth from buying this online here at Amazon or maybe directly from Pitbull, I was trying to see if it was the same product or not because some of these reviews were saying that it wasn't and it was inferior quality and the blades went dull really quick... I've only been using this replacement for a couple weeks now but the packaging that it came in appeared as though it is directly from the Pitbull company, it's a perfect fit on my motor, and the blades are as sharp as the other ones were on my first day out of the box. I didn't even realize the ones I had were actually getting dull until I tried this one the first time and it was so much closer of a shave. Not that Alice was complaining about the doll ones because it was still a cold shave but there was a difference. So yeah for the price, I am completely satisfied. For comparison purposes I'm using in Norelco for my face and when I buy replacement blades for that they actually cost more for three of them than I just paid for four of these blades with the holder wrapped around them.

I had originally wrote a very negative review but I realized that outside of the paint chipping the product does what it's supposed to. The entire thing fell apart all of sudden and I was upset that something that cost $40 just fell apart like that, no it's supposed to do that! It took me a bit but I soon realized that it did come apart but it does that so it came be better cleaned. There is a little gear looking thing in the middle of it that is actually a way to tighter or loosen the whole thing to clean or put back together. Please don't make the same mistake I made and throw away your perfectly good shaver because of a mistake. I'm unclear if there was any instructions in the package that notifies us of this feature but if there isn't that's a big oversize on skullshavers part. The shaver itself is good!

I got this because it is the Forte pro not the Baron pro in the description. Forte pro is an excellent piece of equipment giving a smooth shave every time. Skull shaver is well worth the money.
