Q: Do the cars operate without the track?

Couldn't tell you. It never arrived, and AMazon refused to refund the purchase price because we didn't return it. Stay away!

Q: Item was never delivered, and amazon won't refund money because i didn't return it. how do i rectify being ripped off by amazon and the seller?

Im going through a similar situation with eBay.find out what courier they used and open up another case with Amazon,send the tracking info to Amazon as proof it didn't arrive .all they want is proof it didnt get to you.and launch an investigation with said courier.might take a little time but you'll prevail.hope this helps

It has to be this type of plastic track .it would work best with the hot wheels track set .they also have other tracks you can add on.

Q: Which hot wheels cars work on this track?

The average Hot Wheels car will work well on this track - there are a few exceptions, however. Cars that are a little too wide might get stuck on the loop, and cars that are too tall won't make it through the underpass, such as the Mario Kart cars. Other than that, most cars will do just fine. I suggest those made specifically for tracks.
