Mini-Cocotte Cookbook

This book is designed for individual servings to make in the cocottes. There's good recipes. Onion soup, Mac n cheese, chicken pot pies and more. Definitely a must if you use the cocottes.

This is decently priced and was given to a friend along with one of their mini cocotte. It made for a great gift!

Wonderful little cookbook,

Bought this as a gift for someone and bought the little coquettes to go with it. It was well received!

My son and his wife gave me these little cocottes and I have been looking for a cookbook that gave recipes to fit them. This cookbook does that. My main problem with it is that while the design and layout of the cookbook is very pretty, a number of the recipes are printed in light colors - aqua, tan, etc. It makes for a pretty design, but is brutal to read as you are up to your eyeballs in ingredients... A word to layout artists - please just use black ink for the stuff we need to read. That said, the recipes look good - there are savory and sweet ones. One of the more interesting things is that it appears to be written primarily for European cooks, so measurements are in grams, etc., but they also have American measurements (tsp., tbls, etc). Ingredients are called different things in Europe, and I find it interesting to know that half and half is called "single cream" in Europe.
